I was led into the Prince large study once again with Agnes closely behind.

Prince was standing in front of five male guards all dressed in their official regalia. I couldn’t hear what he was speaking to them but he stopped and turned to face me once he noticed my presence in the room.

His beautiful grey eyes held mine I was left feeling light headed as I continued to walk towards him before he reached out a hand and take mine.

“Iris,” Prince said simply before turning to the five male I now recognized to be humans. Humans were built but not as large as the werewolves. They are slightly smaller and their features less aggressive as compared to their shape shifters superiors.

“These are human guards I have personally handpicked and I want you to look at them carefully and pick one. He will be your personal guard” He said sharply with a nod towards them and I hesitated for a second, my sight entirely focused on him before turning to look at the men just briefly, not even at their featur
