The End

Since my family arrived, I had spent most of my time with them, trying to catch up with things that had happened at home after I was taken. Turns out most of this villagers felt betrayed by what my parent did while most still sympathized with them, after all, they also know what it feels like to loose their children to become slaves.

While we talked about all that had happened behind me, we also talked about my life here in the palace and all that had transpired this past few months before their arrival.

The welcoming ball was scheduled for two days after my family’s arrival, mostly to give them time to rest and adjust to the new environment and surprisingly, my parent adapted rather quickly.

The next night was a bit of stress as u was being fitted for my dress. A gold dress with jewel of diamonds that Otis had gifted to me specially for the occasion.

Once I was ready, I thanked my maids and then stepped out into the hallway. Henry was there, standing before my room diligently.
