Uthando Olungekho Emthethweni {illicit love}
By : Tanny Bae # 1 Amahle POV With my appealing legs crossed , I sat on the stub enjoying the drama . Have always thought that being dramatic is a girl thing but here l am being proven wrong , even drama Kings exist . As the saying goes , " never throw the first punch no matter how tempting it is since starting the first will land you in more trouble hence only fight when your opponent throws the first punch ." Did I mention trouble , Tinashe stirred up trouble for himself by starting the violent ,bloody fist first . Students egged and shouted as the two football team members exchanged blows at the school ground . Although Tinashe tried by all means to fight him back , Ronnel's muscular body was an added advantage to him since it came in hand .Bruises and blood became his face's mask , Ronnel really did a number on Tinashe . Seeing that he has been defeated ,he picked up a stone from the ground and hit Ronnel's head which increased Ronnel's anger , making the matter aggravate .With his left hand on his head , he used the right hand to punch Tinashe in the stomach who staggered like a drunkard before he fell on the ground . Like a real men ,Ronnel patiently waited for him to be on his feet again before beating the hell out of him .If it wasn't for the prefects who managed to stop the gory fight we would have been planning on visiting Tinashe at the hospital since it is exactly where Ronnel wanted to send him judging on how he severely punched him .What a show , too bad it ended so soon . A few minutes after the two were taken to the Principal's office by the prefects the siren rang indicating that lunch time was over so we all made way to the classroom blocks . " Hawo chommie , jealous down you are on fire ," my friend Chipo said that laughing with her hands in the air as a sign of giving up as we took our seats inside the classroom . Me : Oh , please tell me something l don't know Chipo : Nxaa , they should have named you Pride Me : You have a point there friend but eyy my name suits me even more By the way I go by the name Amahle meaning beautiful one and hell no , aren't like those other people whose names are so ironic to how they are for instance a very ugly betty named Beauty .In other words my name describe how l am though it would have been perfect if they named me something like most beautiful one instead of beautiful one since clearly the word beauty can not even begin to describe how good looking l am. Hey aren't bragging , just stating a fact . Let's not go further in describing how l look since you will all think that am lying or something like that because of your jealous but just keep in mind that I got the looks and a very attractive body to die for . It's been two weeks since I started attending high school meaning that am in form one . Enough of the introductions , you will get to know me as time goes on so back to my story .Chipo and I took our lunchboxes and juice bottles from our bags and started digging in like hungry lions since we were very hungry , we didn't eat at lunch time because of the fight . One of the many reasons why I love my friend , she brings delicious food for me every day , I know to most people it's not a big deal but to us bad cooks it's a lot. Well , I cook poison , don't blame me but my dad since he treats me like a golden egg which I am ,perks of being the one and only child .Was busy enjoying the tasty sandwich when Langalihle the headboy shouted that the Principal called for me .Nxaa , what's with black people and timing , can't a girl enjoy her meal in peace . Didn't bother to go to the Principal's office , instead I continued with my meal. Chipo : It will be a miracle if this term ends without you being expelled from school Me : It's a good thing that I believe in miracles I said that walking out of the class , it wasn't my first time to be summoned at his office so I wasn't scared , why would I if I did nothing wrong unlike the last time. Don't give me that look , yeah am one of those naughty students , only two weeks but the history l have made is for ages . On second thoughts am terrified to death , why is that strict woman here ? I questioned myself as I stopped when I heard a very familiar voice shouting very loud , even a deaf person can hear her . Though l badly wanted to turn around l didn't since the last thing I wanted was my mother causing another scene at school so I continued making my way to the office , thinking of what I did wrong this time . Just entered inside the office as if l was walking inside a beer hall since the door wasn't closed so didn't bother knocking . Quickly my eyes scanned the whole office , at least my mother wasn't the only parent there . Me : Good afternoon ... Didn't even finish the sentence , mom stopped me . Mom : Save your greetings to yourself Amah , what nonsense is this ! ? Her high tone couldn't be missed , another reason why I think she should be a radio station presenter . Woman : So this prostitute is the reason why my child almost met death ? Hehede , me prostitute ?She must thank her ancestors that my mother is around or else I would not have hesitated giving her ,her own piece of sh*t . Mom : Don't call my child a prostitute , it's not her fault that your son isn't man enough to fight for himself . One thing about my mother ,though she has made scolding me her daily routine she doesn't like it if another person mocks me .Was about to witness another interesting fight but the Principal stopped them . Principal : Amahle do you understand that fighting is against the school rules Me : I understand sir Principal : Then why are you the root cause behind the fight that happened between these two . Really now nxaa ? How am l the reason behind their fight ? Okay fine , to cut the long story short ,my boyfriend Tinashe was really pissed off when Ronnel kissed me when we were playing spin the bottle , the guys already had a beef before so it was just an opportunity for them to fight . Nxaa , Tinashe didn't have to punch him first ,now am being blamed as if l ordered them to fight akere . Don't even know how he became angry because of a stupid game , Ronnel is even a better kisser than him on top of that . Me : It's not like l ordered them to fight sir Annoyed l rolled my eyes as l gave the Reverent Father a bored look . It's been five years sincehe left me, my dear husband. Five long, arduous years of raising our son, Tyler, alone, with only tears and whispers of what-ifs to keep me company. But then, Chiko entered my life - young, vibrant, and full of life, like asunbeam bursting through the clouds.I recall the first time I saw him, driving Tyler's school bus, his bright smile and twinkling eyes catching my attention. Our initial conversations were fleeting, yet I sensed a connection I couldn't ignore. His kindness toward Tyler, his patience and understanding, drew me in.
