Lexie’s POV I never was a fan of flying and I believe Samuel had figured that out as my nails were probably embedded into his leg by now as the plane took off. Lexie’s POV Last night I had realized that I had made a grave mistake with Samuel. I knew that I had hurt him when he was gone when I came out of the shower. Clearly, I had overreacted thinking something was wrong with Tyler and I had ruined the moment that Samuel and I had just shared. I had no clue how it was even possible that I could have marked two separate men as mine and wondered if it had to do with them being different super naturals. I also wondered if allowing Samuel to mark me would remove this marking of Chase’s. Lexie’s POV Before we knew it we were boarding the catamaran as party music played and we were asked if we would like a drink. Samuel and I decided on the Jamaican punch that they had already pre-made as we found an area to sit while we waited on a few couples to board with us. After the couples were aboard we headed out into the water towards a coral reef where we were to go snorkeling. I’d never been snorkeling before this and I was super excited to finally get my chance. As we neared the reef one of the guides began to show us the basics of snorkeling and I watched him closely so that I didn’t make a fool of myself in front of Samuel. Samuel’s POV There was something about that man that I didn’t trust and I needed to make sure from here on out that I kept Lexie near me. I had noticed his reference to her as royal and princess which leads me to believe that he was like her other side. I wonder if that is what was calling to her the other night when she went into the water and I had to pull her to safety. I knew very little about Lexie’s siren side. It wasn’t like there were clans of them all over the land because their kind kept to the water.
