Recovery

THE WHOLE manor was awakened by Delorah's cries. The old madam immediately went to Delorah's room.

Their faces are painted with pain and worry. They are already expecting this day to come but still, it's painful when it happened.

Delorah died at 10 in the evening. It was a short suffering and quick death. After she cried from the pin, her whole room fell into silence and all they found is her cold body is no longer breathing.

The old madam cried while holding Delorah's body.

"Delorah, my child..." the old madam was wailing and her tears are non-stop.

The butler and the maids could not speak any single word that can ease the pain of the old madam.

"Madam, we will send a letter to the count early in the morning. I will prepare for the funeral." The butler solemnly said but the old madam did not respond.
