Emma’s pov

“I am done with everything for the event, I will go now,” I said and bowed my head to them.

“Wait, if you are going then who will handle everything for the event?” Alpha Hendricks asked me.

“Well Alpha, Luna has made it clear that no omega is allowed to the party. Hence I won’t be there,” I said, and he looked at Jennifer.

“Yes, don’t come at all. I have everything covered, I have hired people to take care of it,” she said to her husband who nodded.

I then turned around and then left.

The first thing I did was take a quick shower and then go to bed.

I just laid there and read a book that I have been wanting to for weeks now.

I have been so busy that I got time to breathe let alone be able to read.

It feels good to finally have a day off.

“Hey, can I sit with you here?” Rachel asked me and I nodded.

“Are you okay?” I asked her and she just shook her head.

“Not really, I just found out that Alicia has been promoted as well. She will be working with you in the Pack
