CHAPTER 18

Ysabelle was surprised and stunned when she heard of what guard said.

She can't believe of what kind of revelation she found out about Joshua, 

so she pinched her left cheek because she thinks everything was just only a dream.

"Miss are you okay ?" said security guard .

"Yeah, yes I'm confidently okay, I am just tired today,”

“ but by the way, uncle thank you for your little time, I've enjoy , goodbye .”

The quickest reply of Ysabelle then she hurried went to her car away from the diamond valley and driving home.

While she was driving in her car,

Ysabelle still couldn't fully understand that the joshua she met was just pretending to be poor but he  turned out  to be a very rich.

And just then, someone called on her phone ,a call from her youngest sister.

"Hello, big sister , where are you now? Please come here right now in the house,”

“our dad , we have a big problem right now, I don't know what to do, please come here big sis,"

 a voice  pleading of her sister who was crying and terrified .

"Rosemarie what's going on? What happened to dad? Hello ?!answer me!?”

“ Just wait a for a couple of minutes ,I'm  close to our home!”

The worried voice of Ysabelle  to her sister .

Bang! Bang! Aloud bang of a gun inside Ysabelle’s house.

"Please have mercy on us, don't kill my father! As if have mercy on us,”

Rosemarie’s   fear  and pleading with the people inside their house with a guns.

"Mercy? What kind of mercy you want? are making nonsense?”

“ Don't be fool ! Your dad has a  huge debt amount of money to my boss!”

“ If you don't want  to lose your dad find a way to  pay off his debt! I will  give you a month to pay off your father's debt to my boss !”

 A terrible voice of a man to Rosemarie .

Then the 5 man left and Rosemarie left terrible and traumatized what she witnessed right now.

Ysabelle hurried to into their home to find out what was going on,  when she saw her father lying on the ground with a lot of blood she was just shocked  ,so she immediately approached him .

"Dad ? Wake up! Help ! Rose what happen  to dad?! Dad please don't give up ,”

a loud scream and cries of Ysabelle  and not knowing what to do at those times .

They rushed their father to the nearest hospital and by the grace of God their father was in good condition now.

Rosemarie still doesn't speak because she's traumatized  by what's been happening lately.

The doctor gave Rosemarie  a sedative and she fell asleep immediately.

"Doc, how is my sister?" Ysabelle asked worried

"Well she's in a good condition right now, “

“ she was just  too traumatized by what was happening but soon after she woke up ,”

“we can talk her politely." Doctor replied .

At that time, Ysabelle could not understand all that was happening and wondered why it was happened to their family.

She doesn't have a mother anymore , so she don't want her fathers to die either,

 so she will do everything she can, to be with her father and sister , she will protect both of them.

8 hours past....

Ysabelle's sister woke up, so her sister noticed that Ysabelle was in their side sleeping .

Rosemarie turned to left bed and she saw her father  was still unconscious ,

 she cried and cried and Ysabelle noticed it that's why she's awake.

"My sister, I’m happy that you woke up,"

Ysabelle tight hug with her sister.

"Big sis," a passionate cry of Rosemarie to her sister.

Ysabelle immediately called the nurses and doctor to check if her sister's condition was okay.

"Her condition now in stable, But she will have another panic attack and trauma whenever she feels or is in a situation of extreme fear ,”

“ it is better that what happened to her yesterday should not happen again ."

The doctor explained to her.

When the doctor left ,

Ysabelle decided to talk to her sister about what really happened to them yesterday and why their father had a gunshot wound.

"My sister, can you tell me everything that what had happened yesterday at home and who did this to our father?”  Ysabelle  asked seriously to her sister .

"I don’t know sister, five armed men suddenly entered our house and fired a gun and hit fathers foot and side and they kicked his stomach very hard ."

 Rosemarie replied crying as she told the story.

"Why? for what reason? Is there another motive they did that to our father? "

Ysabelle asked to her sister and furiously at those people who shot their father.

"They said that our father owes a large amount of money to their boss and they gave only one months to us to pay off the debt .”

“Big sis, what should we do?” said Rosemarie while weeping  and trembling.

Ysabelle's heart seemed to be pounding at what she heard from her sister,

she hugged it to make her feel like she didn't have to worry anymore.

In the middle of being emotional of Ysabelle and Rosemarie,

suddenly their father spoke slowly and very weak.

"My children, forgive me, I didn't mean to things I shouldn't”

“ the truth is why those people yesterday shot me a gun because I have a huge debt to their boss and recently I addicted to a gambling “

“I lost our company and all our family asset , we are now a beggar, it my fault,”

“ I was a fool, only the house is our property left . I don't know but I still have a huge amount of debt to their boss which is 6 million dollars including the huge interest ." Jerry Morgan explained  while crying regretfully to them.

Ysabelle doesn't know if she will be angry or fell sorry for her father because even she is confused and doesn't know how to solve the problem they are facing right now.

"Sorry Ysabelle, I didn't mean to, I didn't care about your well-being,”

“ I cared only about myself and my own happiness ,I'm useless father to you."

Her father was sincere and regretted it but Ysabelle has no choice and she has a soft- heartened that's why she seemed to forget and forgive.

"Dad, I'm leaving first, I'll find a way to pay off 6 million dollars on a shameless shark loan with a huge interest .”

“Get well and rest first here, and rose, you first watch over daddy and take care of him while I'm gone. I will also comeback when I find a way to pay off that shark loan."

 said Ysabelle.

After Ysabelle left at the hospital, she was wondering where she get that much money, most of all she hadn't finished college yet and she didn't have a work experience . She drove with no certainty of where she was going, until she didn't know why she had arrived at the gate at the diamond valley.

Ysabelle lowered her car window and the security guard inside spotted her that's why he immediately approached and talk to her.

"Miss do you need anything? If you don't have one, you can leave now.”

“ Non- residents here are not allowed to standby or visit without any authorised I'd form from the owner of the resident here. This is the strict order from my superior management."

the guard explained to Ysabelle seriously.

"Ahh, uncle  guard , do you know joshua decker right? Is he leaving here right? I'll asked if he's gone yet? He is my friend. " Ysabelle replied .

"Miss, sir Joshua hasn't left yet, you will recognized him because he used his rare and expensive car in the world, the Rolls Royce sweptail and the crystal blue colour was so attracted to all people.”

“ I can say that sir joshua was a very rich man , he is humble and good to us. ?”

The security guard told Ysabelle happily.

Ysabelle was not surprised by what the security guard said because only yesterday she found out from the other guard that joshua really lives here. She decided to say goodbye to the security and not far away she waited Joshua patiently.
