Mag-log inAva's POV
Very early the next morning, the sky was still foggy and dark when I snuck out of the house. I went into the woods behind the mansion, hoping to find the pond I had seen earlier. The pond was tucked behind a wall of pine trees, the water was a pale blue under the early morning light, perfectly still. Without wasting any time, I unhooked the straps of my night gown and let it slide down my naked body. Knowing I would return before anyone else was even up, I had not bothered to put on an underwear while coming out. I hugged my arms around my bare chest as the early morning air bit at my skin. I dipped one toe in and a shiver ran down my spine. The water was cold, freezing even. My body tightened, goosebumps prickling my arms as I walked in. By the time the water climbed to my hips, I felt my nipples harden erect, and I let out a gasp. Soon the water was just below my breasts, I had no idea it was that deep. I was now in the middle of the pond. My body temperature quickly adjusted to the coldness of the water. Barely two minutes in, I heard a little noise behind the trees. My eyes darted to the corner in fear. There was a shadow behind the trees. “Who is there?” I tried to sound bold, although my heart was racing. What was I thinking coming here alone? Slowly a figure walked out from behind the trees and I quickly lowered my body to hide my breasts in the water. Him?? “Miss Taylor, you are up early,” he muttered as he stood at the edge of the pond. “You… you are here,” I stuttered. “Yes, I see you found my morning spot,” he replied nonchalantly, looking back towards the house. The next thing I knew, he began unbuttoning his shirt. My heart flipped inside my chest. What does he want to do? He took off his shirt and my eyes rested on his inked body. Just like I imagined, the tattoo was a Samoan pattern, running through his arm and half of his body, down to his waist. Next he began to unbuckle his belt and once again my heart flipped. Holy shit! As he dropped the pants, my eyes fell on his boxers. His morning wood pressing hard against the underwear. I know I should have turned away but I couldn't take my eyes off the large bulge, plus I was afraid to let him out of my eyesight for a second. What if he is dangerous? He walked into the water, slowly coming in my direction. I was terrified but I managed to stay calm. I swallowed hard, lots of thoughts running through my mind. I wondered if anyone would hear me at the house if I screamed from here, but I hoped I didn't have to. “A gentleman would ask permission before entering to bathe with me,” I found my voice as he came closer. “Good thing I am not one, Miss Taylor.” He replied coldly. My throat was dry but I didn't move. He stopped just two arms length away from me, the water level was at his waist. Of course, he was much taller than me. I was just 5’7” while he was likely 6’3” or more. “I didn't catch your name yesterday,” I mentioned. “Hmm. It's Jaxon… Jaxon West, Liam is my younger brother.” He announced. My jaw dropped. “What? Liam never told me he had a brother,” I blurted. “Ah, of course. I didn't imagine he had a lot to say about me. Liam and I don't have the best of relationships,” he replied. Although he tried to mask it, I could feel the hurt in his voice when he said that. “Why?” I asked. “I don't want to talk about it,” he murmured. I was curious, but I knew I had to respect his decision, so I nodded. “So tell me, Miss Taylor… Who are you really?” He queried. “How do you mean?” I asked with furrowed brows. “Oh please, you can fool others, but not me. I know you are not Liam's girlfriend, so who are you to him?” I huffed, surprised by his take. “Why would you say so?” He sighed as if already exhausted with the argument. “You are smitten with him, that's true, but the same cannot be said for my brother, and that's how I know you are lying.” “You… you don't know what you are talking about.” I muttered, looking away with my cheeks turning red. “Really?” He chuckled. “Yes. Why are you so sure that your brother doesn't like me?” I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me. “Because you are not his type, Miss Taylor.” He retorted. I frowned. “Oh… Since you know it all, what's his type then?” Jaxon took a step closer to me. “Liam likes loud, wild, reckless, demanding, high maintenance girls, as opposed to gentle, innocent, naive girls like you, Miss Taylor.” He answered. I felt his words bite me, I was immediately offended. “So just because I don't wear six-inch heels and scream for attention, I am forgettable?” For the first time, I saw his lips curve into what looked like a smile, perhaps he enjoyed getting on my nerves. “I never said you were undesirable, I just said you are not the kind of girl my brother goes for, so it is hard to believe that you two are together.” I scoffed. “Believe what you want. You don't even know me, yet you jump to conclusions on my personality.” He hummed. “Okay… Let us play your game, Miss Taylor. If you are really dating my brother, when did you two have sex last?” The question threw me off balance. Damn, this man was unfiltered. “Um…” I swallowed hard. “Last week?” He laughed softly, a low rich sound. “Now what kind of lovers go a whole week without having sex?” I couldn't keep eye contact with him when I answered his questions because I was afraid he would see through my lies. “Well, I… I don't like sex.” The words rolled out of my tongue. He paused and then he began laughing. “What is funny?” I asked, annoyed by his behavior. “Hmm… it’s nothing,” he replied in a taunting voice. “No really, tell me, I do want to know.” I pressed. “Well, it is just that you say you don't like sex, but when I look at you Miss Taylor, all I see is a sex deprived young lady, waiting for the right dude to flip her switch and unlock the wild freak in her.” He said “As a matter of fact, you look like you have never been properly kissed before,” he added in a whisper. I could feel my body and breath getting warmer, my heart beating fast inside my chest. I rolled my eyes at him. “What is a proper kiss, Mr. West?” I asked in a breathy voice, swallowing saliva. “A proper kiss, hmm?” His voice lowered and his eyes dimmed. “Why don’t I show you, Miss?” He requested in an even lower tone. With his eyes locked on my lips, he covered the distance between us. My heart was racing as he slowly approached. He held up my jaw and yet my body remained still, as if hypnotized. Next, he brought his face closer and slowly claimed my lips in the most electrifying kiss I ever had. I felt a spark run down my spine the moment our lips met and the world around me literally paused. His scent curled up into my nostrils, making them flair. He smelt like earth after rainfall, and the way he dominated my lips, transferring a lustful hunger to me. As if having a mind of its own, my body unconsciously leaned towards him, not wanting it to end. My breasts were exposed in the process but I was too lost in the moment to care. When he pulled back, I stood there frozen, all rational thoughts leaving my mind. I felt the cold air against my tingling lips. The taste of mint and caffeine lingering on them. “Now you know what a proper kiss feels like,” he whispered to me with a satisfied smug on his face. “See you around, Miss Taylor.” Walking away, he left me standing there dumbfounded, my lips apart, my eyes wide, my body shivering. I had just kissed my best friend's brother… and I think I liked it! **Ava's POVThe afternoon sun hung high above the ranch as all twelve remaining contestants gathered around the riding arena.A line of horses stood waiting beside the fence, each saddled and ready. My eyes immediately searched for one horse in particular.Storm. She wasn't there and I wasn't really surprised.Jaxon wouldn't purposely endanger her and the contestants by including her in the competition.Speaking of Jaxon, he arrived in the arena looking dashingly hot and I found myself smiling. He had on dark jeans and brown boots. A fitted black shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms and a black cowboy hat.As usual, the ladies melted . It never gets boring, watching them drool over him. On the first day, I expected the glazing to last two days at most, but they look more dazed whenever they see him again.Maybe it was to win his attention, he had the power to choose the final winner after all. So if they made it to the last day, they needed to make an impression on him to g
Ava's POVI glanced at Lizzie as we continued walking through the open field.A question had been bothering me ever since our conversation started."Can I ask you something?""Sure. You can ask me anything." She replied.I hesitated. "Were you always sure?"Lizzie looked confused. "About what?""About liking women, and just women."Understanding flashed across her face. "Oh." She smiled. "You mean whether I'm lesbian or bisexual?"I nodded. "Yeah.""Well, I am just Lesbian, so I am into women only.""That makes sense.” I laughed. “When did you know?" I asked curiously.I didn't have any gay friends, so I was naturally curious to know how it works for them. Are people born gay or grow into it?Lizzie laughed immediately. "Honestly? Calvin Klein."I blinked. "What?""The underwear ads. All my friends in high school would lose their minds whenever those half-naked male models appeared on billboards or magazines."“Me too!” I laughed. "It didn't do it for you?""Not at all. In fact, I tho
Ava's POVAfter a few contestants went, I walked into the Diary room for my interview. It was difficult to focus with everything that has happened in the last twenty-four hours.Yesterday was literally the most eventful day of my life.I sat nervously in the chair as the camera operator adjusted his equipment.“Hi Ava.” Sarah smiled as she walked into the room.“Hello Mrs. Bravo.”"Ready?" she asked, as she sat across from me with her tablet resting on her lap.“Yeah.” I nodded with a smile. "As ready as I'll ever be.""Perfect. Let's begin."The red recording light came on."Miss Taylor, yesterday was your first official day as a contestant on Love or Cash on the Ranch. How would you describe the experience?"I smiled. "Exciting. Definitely exciting.""Only exciting?" She asked.I laughed. "Okay, exhausting too. There was a lot happening. The games, the cameras, the contestants, the interviews. I went from being an observer to being part of everything overnight.""And how does that f
Ava's POVJaxon leaned back against the blanket and took a sip of coffee."You'll find out during the briefing." He replied."Duh. Don't you think I know that?" I asked with a frown."Then why are you asking me?""Because I want to know now." I retorted. He sighed dramatically. "You're stubborn.""So I've been told." I flashed a smile at him.A reluctant smile tugged at his lips and then he sighed. "Fine. Barrel racing today and a shooting challenge tomorrow."My face lit up as it immediately reminded me of something."Ahz of course, Maria has been helping Lizzie practice for that. How could I forget?"Jaxon raised an eyebrow. "Has she now?""Yep. We're all rooting for Lizzie to win today, the barrel racing game. And by we, I mean Maria and I, not the other contestants.""Why?" He asked, curiosity etched on his face. “I thought you wanted to win the show.”“Yeah, but I think I can survive one loss.” I shrugged. "Moreover, Lizzie needs the win more than I do.”“Why do you say so?”“Bec
Ava's POVI woke up feeling warm under the blanket. For a few blissful seconds, I had no idea where I was.I sighed and stared silently at the bed, but the gentle sound of a snoring caught my attention and that's when it hit me.My eyes widened.Lizzie!!I looked to my left instantly. She was lying beside me, her dark hair spread across the pillow, sleeping peacefully.Seeing how close and unclothed she was, my heart nearly exploded."Oh my God." I mumbled. The memories from last night came rushing back one after another. The bonfire, the drinks, crying over Jaxon and Lizzie comforting me.Then, the sex…. Oh my God, the sex! We had sex!I covered my face with both hands. What had I done?My stomach twisted. I slowly peeked through my fingers as it was all my imagination and she would disappear. But Lizzie was still right there on the bed, asleep. She looked completely calm, meanwhile I was having what could only be described as a full mental breakdown.Lizzie was a lesbian. How had I
Ava's POVThe second elimination segment somehow felt even more intense than the first. Maybe because this time I actually cared about the people standing beside me.We were back in the Grand Hall. The stage glowed under warm lights while dramatic music blasted through the speakers.Cameras rolled across the contestants one after another, capturing nervous expressions and fake smiles. The contestants all stood in rows again. I wasn't even sure why I was standing with them because it was guaranteed that I won't be getting eliminated today.Only eleven girls would remain after tonight and I wondered who they would be.The sad part about the elimination process was that what you did today doesn't matter. The viewers are voting based on yesterday's performance which was aired today.I folded my arms tightly against the cold night breeze, watching Sarah as she walked up the stage with her cue cards.Beside her stood Jaxon and two production assistants. He had changed out of the clothes he
Ava's POVWhile the others headed down to the Hall, we stood behind and waited for Jaxon. He soon came to meet us.“Hey ladies,” he began with a little smile. “What do you think? It was entertaining, right?”“Absolutely! I can't believe I am saying this but I haven't seen anything like it.” Maria s

Ava's POVJaxon frowned and looked at us in confusion.“Jaxon! Don't you know how to knock?” I queried. “Aren't you aware that there are ladies here?”Jaxon huffed. “It's not my fault that you two left the door unlocked, it was an invitation to come in. Moreover, I have seen you both naked enough t
Ava’s POV“Miss Taylor…” Jaxon called softly, as he began walking to me.“Y-yes,” I answered nervously.“Do you realize what you have done?” “I… I… I am sorry?”I could only stutter as I walked backwards, my eyes never leaving his.Seconds later, my back was against the wall and he had closed the
