Hayden POV

I watched as my mate left, not wanting to accept me. I didn't know why she was so much acquainted with Rylan recently, but then, I knew that it wasn't going to be for long. It wasn't going to be for a long time before she came back to me. I knew that she wasn't going to be for long, and she was going to be mine once again.

I was definitely sure of it. Kathrina's words, however, bore deep into my soul. While the fear gyrating around my core had me in place thinking for a moment that I would lose Kathy forever, I tried to shrug it off.
