"Let's meet up tonight. Come alone and I'll spare your mother. You can send a message when you're done thinking about it. Your life in exchange for your mom's, sweetheart," Zoey said and hung up before I could say a word and I stared at them.

"I'm going to meet her," I said to Caroline and quickly sent a message to Zoey, stating my agreement to her request.

"Kathrina, going alone ti see Zoey is freaking risky," Caroline said.

I shrugged. "I don't care…"

"I'm coming with you," I heard Rylan said, almost yelling as he barged into the house.

"No, Rylan. My mom's life is risk here. Zoey wants only me to come."
