Chapter 53: Confused Kane

I immediately jumped out of the car the moment Kane parked his car. However, the latter also came out and ran after me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him in shock. I looked around to see if there were any people around.

My eyes brushed a blonder hair but before I could take a closer look, that person was gone.

"There are only two of us here. Anyway, I wanted to tell you something." Kane started to speak.

I hurriedly pulled him and dragged him behind a large tree. If we remain standing there in the parking lot, people would immediately see us.

"Can it not wait until later?"

"No. I have to say it today."

"Then why you didn't say it earlier?" He had a lot of chances to say whatever he wanted to say in the car. "Nevermind, what is it?"

Kane looked at me. His dark eyes were wavering a bit as if he was hesitating to say it.
