Mark pulled away from Lily. He wiped the tears off Lily’s eyes and patted her cheeks. “I told you not to go out alone,” asserted Mark and with his other hand caressed Lily’s one hand.
“I thought you leave,” Lily stated.
“How can I leave without seeing you?” Mark questioned Lily with a raised brow. Lily rested her head on Mark’s chest and in a low voice said, “I thought like in movies you do not want to see me cry and would leave without seeing me. Thank you for coming there.”
