Lily stopped Mark to take her away from her house. “My parents are not home so, let’s stay here,” Lily said in a low voice. Mark gave a nod and sat on the bed. He opened his shoes and then pulled up the blanket to cover Lily. Lily snuggled closer to Mark as she started feeling the pain again.
Mark put his hand around Lily and pulled her closer. “I am sorry for going hard on you. But it was the only way,” Mark asserted. Lily hummed and spoke, “I am feeling hot near my neck as if it is burning.” Mark tilted Lily’s head and saw the mark has reddened and she was feeling intense pain because of that.
Mark leaned closed to Lily’s neck and sucked the marked area, followed by a gentle kiss. As he pulled away he said, “You have to bear it, Lily. The pain will go away by the morning.” Lily felt the breath of Mark near her neck and it soothed her out. Gradually opening her eyes she peered into Mark’s eyes.
“How did you come here? Weren’t you in Hell?” Lily asked curiously.
