Lily’s sleep broke and she found Mark was in half laying positing beside her. His hand was over her. Lily tried moving up but the pain did not let her. Luckily, her parents were not home so, she was relieved. But, what about her work? “M-Mark,” she called out his name in a low voice.
Mark opened his eyes and looked at her. “You are awake? How are you feeling?” Mark asked Lily as he caressed her cheek and then hair.
“I am not able to move myself. I have to go to work,” stated Lily in a meek voice.
“You cannot go to work today. You are not able to move because of the pain you are getting from the bite. I think I should have waited a little more,” Mark pronounced. Lily told him not to say things like that. Using her entire strength, she sat up on the bed and rested her head on Mark’s shoulder.
