As soon as I cut the ribbons, claps and cheers gracefully filled the air.

"Congratulations Laurel!" Kaitlyn screamed in excitement as she lunged herself on me.

"Congrats, best friend." Liam said, as soon as Kaitlyn let go, coming round to pull me into a hug. I hugged him and then I hugged Wesley who wouldn't stop smiling at me.

"I'm proud of you."

"Thanks." I said and quickly let go of him when I saw my mother.

"My baby!" She said and embraced me. "I'm proud of you. So so proud."

"Thanks mom. I'm so happy I made all of you so proud."

"You've always made me so proud, Laurel. Always."

I greeted Liam's parents who also congratulated me and just then I saw Wesley's parents walking towards me. I wanted to save them the walk and so I got to them first.

"Congrats, Laurel." Damon Cooper said smilingly, as I shook hands with him.

Beatrice Cooper, Wesley's mom hugged me. She was also like a mother to me. "Diamond collections? That's huge. Welcome to the team, Laurel."
