It caught her attention how it did not mention what a n amazingly devoted father h e had been. Maybe Amir's father decided against it, after h e found out Aháva was not his daughter.

She cried bitterly. She had t o let all that pain seep out.
She loved Amir. Not the way she loved Dominik, but loved him anyway.
Charlie hesitated when she thought of going with her friend, t o comfort her, but Carlos stopped her.
