(Izobel’s POV)
Nolan was shocked as he curled himself in the living room corner, his wide eyes pinned on the approaching wolf. We could tell he was stopping himself from breathing, terrified at what he had witnessed. He was shirtless, so I assumed Amber lured him, making out with him, and then she did her plan. Dad and I lunged into her body before she could approach him.
“Amber, stop!” I cried hysterically as I wrapped my arms around her neck while my dad blocked her way, protecting Nolan.
‘Dad, stop protecting him. I will kill him before they hurt us.’ She hissed, trying to struggle and escape from me. ‘Don’t stop me, Izobel. I won’t make the same mistake as yours!’ She snarled at me, but I growled furiously at her.
