Aubrey returned home after visiting Jordan. Her mind could not stop thinking about the whole act and what needed to be done. She was close to going crazy.
Maria was nowhere to be seen in the apartment as she left for work an hour ago. Aubrey threw herself on the couch and turned on the TV, hoping that it would be a good source of distraction.
She heard her phone ringing in her bag, so she reached for it; Austin was calling.
"Hey Austin," she answered, putting the phone on speaker.
"Are you okay?" he asked her the moment she answered.
"I'm good.... no need to worry about me," she assured him, but she was a liar. She was not okay. She was far from that.
"You know that you're not forced to continue this
Jordan held his phone tightly in his hands, debating whether or not to call Aubrey. It has been five days since they last went out together and he wanted to see her, but he was well aware that he was the last person she would want to see. He was almost a hundred per cent sure that he was the person she hated the most in her life. He did not want to be that person, but things got out of hand and he fell into the trap. He should have known from the beginning that something was off. After more than twenty minutes of thinking, Jordan built up his courage and called her. He did not know if she would accept going out with him or not, but he decided to give it a go. "Hey." He heard her voice through the phone and suddenly he got nervous. Aubrey made him see himself as a high
"You've never been this silent before," Aubrey commented, looking at Jessica who was sitting in front of her. "It's kind of awkward between us." Jessica shrugged, glancing at Aubrey. "And why is that?" Aubrey wondered, resting her chin on the palm of her hand while her elbow was on her knee. "I'm Jordan's sister." Jessica frowned. "He messed up." "HE messed up, not you," Aubrey pointed out. "Why would I treat you differently if everything is okay between us?" &nbs
Green. Not once had Aubrey imagined herself wearing a dress of this colour. It was a risk, but something about that dress caught her attention and pulled her towards it. She loved the lace, the simple design and the colour. The dress was screaming at her to try it, to put it on her body and to let its fabric touch her skin. She loved how it hugged her body, and she adored the off-shoulder cut with its long lace sleeves. She was going to a party she didn't want to go to, so she thought that she should at least enjoy the way she looked. It was an album release party that Edmond held for one of his signed stars and she was invited since she was one of his signed stars. She could have brought somebody with her, but she di
It had been two days since the signing party. Jordan hadn't been going easy on himself. He barely slept and his eyes were puffy. He was blaming himself for all of that mess because he was sure that he was the main reason behind all of it. Had it not been for what he said, everything would've been fine between him and Aubrey. Perhaps he would have been able to ask her on a date if that didn't happen, but luck wasn't on his side. After almost forty hours of being awake, exhaustion took over him and he passed out on the couch of his fancy house. Although he was a family guy, Jordan needed his space from time to time. He loved being alone at certain times and he enjoyed his personal space.Jordan woke up when he heard the doorbell ringing. At first, he tried to imagine that it was all a dream and nothing was interrupting his strongly
"Maria couldn't come with you today?" Jessica asked Aubrey as they were both lying on the bed with the laptop close to them; they were watching a movie on Netflix. Jessica's room was quite modern. It was a dreamy room that any girl would love to have. The walls were off-white. The bed was grey and the pillows were made of multiple colours like grey, white and beige, but dark blue was the dominant one. At the end of the bed, there was a backless dark blue couch. The duvet was made of the same colours as the pillows; it was custom-made. "No, she had things to do. In other words, she's going on a date," Aubrey replied, putting some popcorn in her mouth; she loved caramelized popcorn. "Have you seen the guy bef
It was Aubrey's first time ever to drive that fast, but she was worried about him and she was scared that he might wake up at any moment and drive back to his place. She didn't want him to drive while he was drunk. She could not afford another loss for the same reason. She was not going to live that misery again. She was not ready to put flowers on the grave of somebody else who was dear to her. The moment she walked inside the pub, her eyes looked for the bar, doing her best to spot Jordan. She slowly approached the bar and with each step she took, her heart sank even more. Not once had she imagined seeing him in that condition. "Hello, is this Bryce?" Aubrey asked the bartender.
Aubrey was awoken by someone furiously shaking her at nine in the morning. She groaned as she opened her eyes and looked up at whoever was shaking her; Maria was in front of her. She expected that to happen. She already knew that if Maria woke up before her, she'd bombard her with billions of questions."What exactly is Jordan exactly doing on our couch?" Maria asked her curiously while taking a seat on the bed."Sleeping," Aubrey answered as a matter of fact."No shit Sherlock!" Maria rolled her eyes. Aubrey yawned as she stretched her arms and sat up. "Come on! Talk!""I had to go get him from a bar last night, okay? He was super drunk and I had to get him. That crazy man wanted to drive while he couldn't even identify me clearly,"
Jordan picked the letter that was on Aubrey's car windshield. He had already thought that it could be a letter from a fan, but on opening the letter after asking for Aubrey's permission, he was sure that it was not from a fan. It was more of a threat. This letter was most probably from the same person who sent Aubrey the teddy bear. "What does it say?" Aubrey asked him. He did not want to freak her out, but she had the right to know. She needed to take the necessary precautions after all.'Aubrey, Jordan is no good for you. What was he doing at your place last night? You're much better than him. Maybe if you looked thoroughly, you'd be able to see through his deceitful acts. You deserve to be treated like royalty and he's not the one to do that.
