Chapter twenty nine.

My vision is met by a bland darkness when I open my eyes.

The rough feeling of the hard, uneven ground against my back inflicts a sharp pain on my spine, and I shuffle for a while before been able to sit upright.

It takes about a minute for my eye sight to adjust to the blinding dimness in the room I am in.

The ceiling goes high, a natural curved surface without any colour. Looking around the tomb like space gives me the same feeling as when I was in my basement room at Alpha Luke's pack.

I drag myself to my feet, the light dizziness weighing on my shoulder.

The last thing I remember is that I was on my way to my escape from Emilliano.

And then—i scrunch my brows, racking my head.

And then—

footsteps—

Someone came from behind me and that is where it stopped.

The air has a messy smell of dust and age, from the corner I am, I can faintly make out the shape of a square shape—chamber like thing in the middle of the room.

It gives off a weird feeling and I wouldn't be needing the alarms g
