Alice stripped off her clothes firstly, she wasn't close to the blast to smell like smoke and gunpowder but she couldn't exactly explain leather boots and tights when they weren’t among the things that Callum bought. After that, she headed to the kitchen and found his liquor cabinet again since drinking was the only good thing to do in the house. There was too much adrenaline in her system to go to bed anyway.

Vodka was always the right choice, of course, she took a swig, reminiscing of what Callum said to her when he was leaving earlier in the day. “Do me a favor, stay out of my liquor cabinet and out of trouble.” She remembered how he eyed her when he added the last part.

“The most trouble I could get into is deciding if I want toast or cereal for dinner.” Was her reply.
