I finally emerge from the mists of sleep, feeling my body extremely light. It's strange to be able to move freely again, and I feel lonely as I remember that my belly is empty.

Silence reigns in the room, and I notice that my babies are sleeping like angels in their cradles, while my companions have dozed off in their chairs, in more or less uncomfortable positions.

I run my hand through Reed's hair, his head resting close to my thigh, clearing his face. He opens his eyes slowly and, meeting my gaze, straightens to crush his lips to mine and offer me a fiery kiss.

- I can't wait to get home," he growls.

I laugh softly, but I understand his impatience, my fangs itching just at the thought of marking him.

After some more posing for the journalists, we left the ceremony tent for a smaller one, where only my companions, Clara and I were gathered to answer the journalists’ questions. Dereck gave them an hour and not a second more. After that, they’d have to leave to let us enjoy the festivities. So we’re sitting behind a long table, answering journalists who are much more disciplined than before. Each one asks the questions that are useful to him or her, depending on the theme of the newspaper: fashion and beauty, decoration, people, scandals, or politics.I answer them all, with honesty, sometimes shocking and making my companions laugh, not forgetting Clara, who doesn’t hold back from laughing out loud, scolding journalists whose judgment comes through in their tone of voice when I’m too polite to do so, but also preparing people for their departure so that I’m not wrongly judged

Reed, radiant with beauty and dressed in the same suit as my two husbands, is waiting for me at the end of the aisle, in front of the mayor. Seeing me refuse the bouquet, fear invades him even as I advance toward him and he meets me halfway, immediately framing my face with both hands.- Are you angry with me?" he worries.I shake my head negatively.- I promise I'll make it up to you.He kisses my forehead and takes my hand, intertwining his fingers.- Where's Derek?" I ask, noticing his absence.- He wanted to keep it a surprise by discovering you at your own ceremony," Reed smiles at me. And this way, he's a distraction.- Don't worry, I'll take care of the filming for him," says Celia, passing behind me.- Hello and welcome to you all," greets the mayor as

I pass my parents in the hallway, both red-eyed and sad. They smile and kiss me all the same, then Mom accompanies me to help me get dressed.I'm taken to Mathis's old room, which has been emptied and turned into a beauty salon. Raphaël, who has carried me all this way, puts me in an armchair, next to which the hairdresser is waiting. The hair and make-up are fine, but the dressing is starting to get on my nerves. For my taste, I stay up too long for nothing. Especially as I soon realize that the contractions I'm feeling aren't coming from me.- STOP!" I shout, freeing myself from all the hands oppressing me. You, sit down," I order Clara. The rest of you, get out!- Jamy, Mathis, come and help me, please.- Are you all right, kitten?- Yes, it's just that I can't stand listening to Mom, Celia and Clarissa

We're two days away from the royal wedding. Clara is doing well, very well indeed. She's in much better shape than I am, who's stressing out about the wedding with contractions increasing day by day and portending an imminent birth.Clara is constantly reassuring me. We've always been very close, but in the last week we've become literally inseparable. It's a good thing my companions have invested in an indecently large bed, as all six of us sleep together.I've had to face up to the fact that Clara and I will probably give birth at the same time. As soon as I have a contraction, my free hand finds her belly too. I often surprise her, as she doesn't seem to feel the contractions. Yet every time I wake up, she is too.- Don't go," I murmur, meeting her gaze illuminated by the light of the night star.Reed wakes up. As he has been for the

The following day, Dereck accompanied Kratos and Raphaël to the latter's pack, in order to settle Raphaël's move as quickly as possible. Raphaël feared that his Alpha would be recalcitrant to his departure; he was one of the few Alphas who didn't respond to my invitation to be godfather at my wedding to James. He's not very open-minded and has done nothing to combat the differences in his territory. So Kratos decided it would be best for Dereck to be present in case of need. Even though my companion wasn't thrilled at the idea of being away from me, he didn't hesitate to support the couple. So they were away for three days, during which I immersed myself in the preparations for the royal wedding, with the support of my sisters and Clarissa. As soon as he returned, Raphaël joined us.Everything is more complex, more formal and far too pompous for my taste. We're a week away from the wedding and
