Prologue

Our windows were open when I woke up in bed by myself.

I smile and stretches my arm and looking up the ceiling.

The air from outside fills the room, and this made me smile.

As usual, my wife had woken up early, but it was only seven thirty when I got up and checked the time.

She might be preparing our breakfast at the moment.

It is Sunday today, and I grinned when I realized our kids were present.

They just got back from Italy yesterday.

In order for my wife and I to spend quality time together, they took a three-week vacation to their grandparents, and I made the most of our time together.

We are still like a new couple every time we make love, and it feels like we just got married.

I shook my head and laughed to myself, knowing that if Heart saw me, her cheeks would undoubtedly flush again.

I took a shower before going downstairs, and once I was done, I went straight to the kitchen.

I was about to open the door when I heard my children's voices and laughter, so I smiled and looked inside.

Our eldest was assisting her mother with breakfast, while the twins and youngest were laughing at their conversation.

We have four children, three boys, and our eldest, a single girl.

"Good morning, Daddy. I went to the dining room and smiled when my oldest noticed me.

"Good morning, Princess, My Queen." I greeted my first child and kissed her on the forehead before kissing my wife, whose cheeks were flushed, and the children moaned as a result.

"Daddy, no PDA please." I laughed as one of the twins complained.

While we were eating breakfast, I could not help but stare at our happy family, wondering what I had done to deserve such a happy family.

This family has been through a lot, but we only dreamed of it once, and he gave us a double grace.

"We fulfilled our dreams, and that is all I could ask for, Raphael." I looked at my wife, who was adoringly watching over our children.

"There is nothing left. The only thing we can do is raise them as good people while they are still young and always support them." I told her, kissed her firmly on the hand, and joined our children in their conversation.

However, we have something to say that will increase our enjoyment.

My wife is pregnant, so this is the happiest day of our lives yet.

"Children, Daddy, and I want to say something." Our kids looked at us and nodded.

When we told them they would have a brother again, we saw infinite happiness in their eyes, and both Heart and I burst into tears from the joy.

So, how did we get started?

How did we end up in this situation? The thought that I would never see the girl I love again nearly killed me.

And when I meet Heart and get a special opportunity, that is when our story starts.
