I MISSED EVERYTHING

“Hey, sis Jazz! You are back. I missed you so much…..” said Ron squeezing Jessica in his tight embrace. Ron was always loved by everyone including Jessica which irritated Amy the most. Jessica always favored him more than anyone else including Amy. Feeling a bit insecure Amy shouted “Ron, move away from Jessica. She is my best friend, not yours. OK!”

Amy’s sudden shout made both Ron and Jessica jump. It had been a long time since Amy last shouted like that. Ron quickly let go of Jessica and faced a red-faced angry Amy. She was on the verge of crying. It looked like someone has snatched her gift from her hands not willing to give it back.

Jessica stood up from the chair and lightly patted Amy’s shoulder. Amy broke out in tears and hugged Jessica sobbing, “Why do you always treat me and my brother so differently. You are my best friend, not his…..*sob* I could not even talk to you calmly…..*sob*…..” Jessica comforted Amy and finally made her friend stop crying.

Amy soon returned to her cheerful nature and stared at Ron with a dealy glint. “Ron you are not allowed to even get a little bit near MY Jessica. STAY 100 METRE AWAY FROM HER UNTIL YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH!!!!!” Amy warned her brother who was still rooted on the spot acting like a frightened kitten.

“I am not afraid of you. And she is not yours, she is my sister as well. I dare you to threaten her or me.” Ron said with a deadly look in his eyes pointing towards Jessica, who seemed to enjoy this scene of the two of them fighting.

“huh! Who do you think you are. You are just a little devil in the disguise of an angel.” Amy said giving off a magnificent aura.

Jessica stood in a corner and saw the pair continuously arguing with each other with a slight smile on her face. when she was in the States, she would always miss this particular scene. She herself could not remember when she last saw them fighting like this, maybe it was centuries ago.

“STOP IT!!!!” The shout made both brother and sister be quiet and turn their heads towards the person who just shouted.

It was none other than Jessica. her face had a serious expression as she said in her sweet yet her tone carried an unbelievable pressure, “Can you stop for today or….” With a mysterious smirk, she looked at the brother-sister pair making them gulp. “You wanna miss out on the feast prepared by Mother Fang ‘cause if you are even a minute late I would devour all the food and let the remaining to be eaten by the stray dogs." Jessica threatened the siblings before she walked out of the room with an innocent face. behind stood the siblings, their faces pale.

“KIDS. COME DOWN FAST” Mother Fang’s voice bought Ron and Amy back from their daze, who blankly stared at Jessica's back who was already out of the room and stood there looking at the siblings.

“Let’s go! I don’t know about you but I am pretty hungry right now.” Jessica said as they moved downstairs to the dining room.

Father Fang was already in his seat and Mother Fang happily served food for him and the kids. Lastly, she too sat down to eat. The table was filled with over a dozen mouth-watering delicacies.

All were munching on their food when Ron spoke out, "Mom you should make tasty food like this on regular basis. It is so yum. This way we would eat our fill and there is no need to order pizza at midnight."

Everyone at the table stopped. Amy and father Fang slowly looked at Mother Fang who looked like she could burst out any minute. Ron too realized the real wait of his words and looked at his mother with a puppy face. Jessica too held her breath anticipating a burst out from Mother Fang. and it happened.

"MR. RON FANG, DO YOU WANT TO SAY THAT I AM A BAD COOK. THE FOOD I MAKE ON A DAILY BASIS IS EQUALLY HEALTHY AND ELIGIBLE. AND CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHO THE HELL ORDERS PIZZA AT MIDNIGHT IN THIS HOUSE?" Mother Fang roared at Ron.

Ron pointed at Amy and Father Fang with his trembling finger. Mother Fang turned to him with anger and Father Fang bowed his head ready for a lecture that did not come. Instead, he heard a small bell-like giggle from the table. He looked up to see Jessica giggling at them. His eyes softened, 'my baby girl is happy.' All looked up at Jessica who had now started laughing with a hand on her stomach.

She got up still laughing heartily and hugged Mother Fang, "I missed you so much, mom. I missed these dinners, our laughs, your scolding... I missed EVERYTHING." Soon the whole family got up and did a happy family hug without caring for the upcoming storm.

The Han Family Mansion…

“Master.” The young man handed over a file to the person he called ‘master’. The man took the file and flipped through the pages casually.

“Young miss has returned. Her flight landed at 4 pm and she was accompanied to the Fang villa with the Young miss of Fang family. She has not contacted the Han family till now.” Finishing his report, the young man stood straight waiting for further orders.

“Okay! She will return home anyway. How long will she live with the Fang family? Once she comes home I will introduce her to Mr. Smith and get them married.” said the man with a devilish smile on his face.

The man sitting on the chair was none other than the CEO of one of the leading real estate company-‘The Imperial.’ While the young man was his right-hand assistant, Li Wei. The talk was about the young daughter of the Han family, Xiaoqing aka Jessica.

‘Young miss is fortunate to be born with a silver spoon in her mouth but is also pitiful to be treated like a pawn by her father for his benefits.’ Li Wei thought without voicing out his thoughts. he had worked with CEO Han for the last five years but never understood his true nature, sometimes he was as sweet as sugar but the next second he could be as sour as a lemon. His nature was undefinable.

*Knock*Knock*

Both men turned to the door as it opened and walked in a young girl. “Dad!” there was a sweet voice of the girl who had just walked in.

This girl was the second young miss of the Han family. Her name was Jia, as her name suggests she was liked by everyone from day one. She was extremely spoiled by all, including the old master of the Han family. However, she was never able to take the place of Jessica in the heart of the old master. Old master still cared for Jessica the most.

“Oh, my sweetie! How was your day? Did someone bully my dear??” asked Father Han with concern. He had always shown loving nature to Jia that once belonged to Jessica. The concern in his voice was clear which also bought Li Wei back to reality.

“Daddy, I just saw a very beautiful dress on my way back from school. It was really very pretty. Could I get it for the banquet tomorrow???” Jia pleaded with her puppy eyes.

“Sure. Is this even a thing to ask you should have already bought it.” replied father Han. He had always given everything to Jia without any need for her to ask him for it. Today he felt a bit bad when he realized that he had failed to tell what his loveliest daughter needed.

“Thanks, dad! You are the best dad!” Jia said with happiness and excitement all over her face as she hugged her dearest father.

The father-daughter duo was talking so excitedly with each other that they forgot Le Wei who was still there. Le Wei stood there without a word but there were a lot of things going on in his mind.

This love and care were never shown to Jessica when she needed it the most instead her father pushed her away. He gave her two choices- one to stay at home and be with the mistress bought back by her father or the other one to go abroad without any financial support from the family.

Jessica had to make this choice when her mother had died and her father bought his mistress home with a daughter the same age as hers. Jessica was so disappointed in her father that she decided to move overseas than live in hell with her so-called stepmother and step-sister. As stated by her father’s conditions she was not given any financial support except a few bucks she got from him.

Once she left no one was able to contact her until recently when she contacted her grandfather saying she was coming back a few days ago.

This news created chaos in the villa but it had a difference in the attitude of the people who created this chaos. One was the Old Master who was more than excited to meet his granddaughter. He had been in a relatively happy mood these days as he was preparing for the upcoming banquet that he had specially arranged for his precious granddaughter who was coming back home after seven whole years.

While the other person was none other than the mother-daughter duo, who were extremely unhappy with Jessica’s sudden return. They were trying their best to not let her return they even send people to attack Jessica on her arrival. But they failed. Unfortunately, Father Han was also supporting them in destroying the reputation of Jessica and worse destroy Jessica. However, they were unknown of the secret surprise that was prepared for Jessica by the Old Master and this surprise could destroy their hopes.

The master and old master did not have a good relation. They constantly fought against each other after Jessica left the country. The old master was disappointed in his son and refused to acknowledge him or his new wife. He even took away half of the company shares from his son. His son often tried to win back the company and old master's trust but it was beyond impossible. He could never fight his strong-headed father who had strong backing in the country and the company. So he had to keep his mouth shut and follow the instructions.
