Talk and Realization!

Staring at him deeply from all aspects and grounds, Ayato came running into his grandfather's embrace. The two hugged each other happily.

" I missed you, grandpa," Ayato whispered to his grandfather in an emotional state.

" I missed you too, my favorite grandson." For Sebastian, watching them any longer was becoming unbearable. From the corner of his eye, Narumi guesses his son's sentiments and deliberately decides to tease him a little more.

After separating from each other, Narumi deliberately said to his grandson the following, " Where were you all this time, my little Ayato? Why didn't you come to visit?"

???

" Didn't you miss me even a little?" Noticing his confused expression, Narumi signaled to Ayato to play a game with him. It didn't take long for Ayato to understand where he was coming from and what he wanted from him.

" Sorry, grandpa!" I didn't mean to hurt you like this." To make his actions seem more believable, he faked cries in front of his grandfather with Sebastian only watching without uttering a single word.

" If only your father would come here more often, we would have seen each other more often." Narumi also started fake crying along with Ayato and then, Sebastian snapped. That's all he could take.

" Please, stop the act already! Nobody is buying it." As he said boldly, the two stopped instantly and stared at each other in a funny state.

Ayato approached his father and said as a joke, " You're becoming quite smart, dad."

Sebastian knew better as to not take his son's jokes seriously as those were all just act.

" What are you doing standing there immobile?" Narumi interpellated his son who still hasn't budged from his initial position.

???

" What are you waiting for?" Come and hug your old man!" Narumi extended his arms for an embrace. Sebastian finally budged from his initial position and instead of going to his father as the latter expected, he passed through him and headed inside. Narumi felt disappointment and sadness at his son's indifference.

Ayato came to his grandfather to console him. He hugged him in place of his father. " Don't be sad, grandpa! He'll come around eventually." His warm words had a slight effect on Narumi which impacted making his sadness disappear temporarily.

Narumi and Ayato head inside the house. There, Narumi was seated at one of the biggest sofas. Narumi and Ayato joined him and they had dinner before Ayato went to sleep as he was extremely tired and Also because he had school the following day.

" For what exactly have you called me home, dad?" Speak up or else—-----" Sebastian was losing patience as his father had yet to utter the reason he was called home.

Narumi finally broke his silence and uttered the following very subtly, " I know you don't want to be here and I also know that you don't want to have anything to do with me but I had to see you anyways."

He continued, " I've called you home to discuss your marriage. I know this subject is taboo for you but think about Ayato before you say anything to me."

Sebastian listened to his father as he kept talking and explaining the situation to him in its legal context. " Ayato is still young and just because he doesn't complain, that doesn't mean that he doesn't lack things."

Hearing about his son suddenly had a somewhat positive impact on him as he softened slightly. " Like every child, he also longs for a mother; a mother who would love him with all her heart. A mother who would bring him to school every morning and tell him bedtime stories at night."

To finish, Narumi posed a hypothetical question in front of him. " Until then, will you keep ignoring your child's needs?"

" Until when will you keep hiring nannies for him?"

Throughout his life, Ayato had nannies taking care of him ever since birth but none of them stayed more than six months. In total, he had had more than twenty nannies.

" If not for you, at least consider the idea for him." Narumi's words touched Sebastian more than he thought they would. The key points he stared at made sense and were very valid, but Sebastian wasn't ready to admit his father was right as that would consolidate his ultimate defeat. If there's one thing he hates more than anything, that would be losing to his father.

" You're one to talk. You have no right to tell me how to raise my kid, do you hear me?" Sebastian's expression turned sour and cold. He was full of anger and it could very well be sensed throughout his words.

He stood and as he turned his back, he added, " Whatever my child wants and needs, I'll give it to him as I've always done until now. You have no right to tell me what to do nor do you have the right to lecture me about anything regarding my life."

Narumi was deeply hurt by his son's words but regardless stood his ground against him. " Wait, Sebastian! I'm not done talking."

" But I'm done—---" Sebastian kept advancing and wouldn't stop. He was almost at the door when he heard his father muttering once more.

" I'll give you the chance to choose who you want to marry; you shall make the choice yourself." Sebastian stopped at the sound of those words which he deemed sarcastic.

" What the hell?" I told you to stop intruding on my life. Why won't you listen?" Although he could see the intensified anger, he didn't flinch and kept pushing.

" You have until next week to bring a girl of your choosing here. If not, I shall intrude in your life as you dislike it and choose a girl of my standards." The choice is yours. Think about it and make the best decision for yourself.

Sebastian left the NS Family Mansion in anger and then came the following morning. Ayato was all ready to head to school after having his breakfast.

" Young master, are you ready to go?" A young lady was standing there and looking sweetly at Ayato. She's the 35th nanny to date and goes by the name, Pudding Silva.

Ayato was displeased by her presence and grit his teeth in displeasure. Just then, Narumi Nascimento arrived.

" Ms. Silva, you're not needed today, so you should head back." Narumi tapped on Ayato's shoulder. He concluded by saying, " Today, I'll be the one to bring my grandson to school."

" But Mr. Nascimento said—---------" She was cut short by Narumi.

" Are you going against my orders?" Staring at her coldly, Pudding felt a shiver go through her spine and she was frozen in place. She replied with a simple word which was, " No, Sir!"

" Let's go, Ayato! Grandpa Narumi will bring you to school today."

" Yeah!" They walked past her and headed outside. Pudding was still petrified in place and wouldn't dare budge from there in worry of repercussions against her.

At the SN Corporation, Sebastian was constantly thinking about his father's words regarding Ayato. He was so disrupted that he couldn't concentrate on the meeting that was taking place. When the meeting finally concluded, he sighed in annoyance.

( This old man truly got me good and now, I'm unable to concentrate on my work.)

At Flower Garden Academy, at around lunchtime—----------------------

" What are you eating, John?" It looks delicious." One of the students asked John, who was eating his lunch, with a great appetite.

" It's Omelet Rice." My mom made it for me early in the morning." The student responded with a lavish smile on his face. Apart from him, other students were also eating quite the delicacy of great cuisine.

" Ayato, your food is so pretty. Which chef made this?" One student was seated at his right, while the other was seated at his left. The other students were seated nearby at separate tables, a few kilometers away from him.

" Well, that's—--------------------" Ayato couldn't respond as compared to his classmate John's lunch, he was nothing special. He didn't even want to eat it and simply stared at the food in the box.

John noticed how sad he looked and asked, " What's wrong, Ayato?" Why aren't you eating?" He tapped his right shoulder as he stared at him with deep concern in his eyes.

" I'm not hungry." He said as he looked elsewhere. John was staring at his dish for some reason. Surprisingly, Ayato noticed the same.

" Do you want my dish, John?" He asked without an ounce of hesitation. John's eyes started gleaming.

" Yes!" He admitted shyly before continuing. " I've always wanted to try a dish made by a chef. I'm sorry!"

Ayato looked at the dish which he didn't want and at his classmate, John who wanted it and said, " You may have my dish, John!" He extended his lunch box to him.

He looked hesitant to accept it then had an idea to solve the issue.

" I'll take your lunch box but you take mine too." He said amiably. Ayato stared at his classmate's lunch with envy but managed to suppress it.

" Deal!" At John's insistence, he accepted and the exchange was made.

Ayato and John tasted their opposing dishes and the experience was inexplicable. Ayato was getting emotional as he ate the lunch John's mom made for him.

(It's just an average lunch box but the amount of love inserted into it cannot be compared or even counted.)

John uttered to the delicacy he was having, " This is so delicious. You're very lucky to be enjoying this kind of delicacy every single day."

Ayato simply smiled at the compliment directed at him. Unknown to him, however, was someone watching him from afar. That person was none other than his father, Sebastian Nascimento.
