Blind Dates!

“ It’s delicious!” That was the first compliment Ayato let out from his mouth after eating just one bite of the dish Ayase prepared. His emotions were overflowing as he kept eating and he couldn’t contend them inside.

“ What’s wrong, Ayato?” Why are you crying?” Ayase was at a loss as to why he was crying so suddenly, then asked him the reason for his tears.

Ayato responded the following as some tears fell into the rice dish, “ I’ve never had something this delicious.” The man in the suit understood what Ayato was talking about. The only person who didn’t quite understand what was going on and the significance behind his nonchalant words was Ayase.

Before Ayase asked him what he meant, he began telling her how he spent his life until now. He told her about the numerous nannies he had in the past and how none of them could give him the love of a mother, a love which he’d been lacking all his life. Listening to all his peripeties, Ayase was sad and emotional at the same time.
