Chapter 4

After dressing up, both Sebastian and Lorraine went downstairs to have breakfast. Sebastian didn't know what to expect from the lot, they have had fun last night but everyone was high, now they were sober and most probably awkward.

Well, Sebastian was proven wrong.

Although they sat in silence for some initial minutes, focusing on eating rather than talking before Ana interrupted.

"Sebastian?"

Sebastian looked up from his breakfast to face Ana, giving her a questioning gaze.

"You live with your brothers don't you?" She asked, big eyes blown wide comically in awe.

Sebastian didn't know where she was leading from this question but still answered.

"Mhm, makes our work easy."

"Woah!" She exclaimed before looking towards Lorraine who was sitting beside Sebastian, minding her own business and not looking up. "Must you not aspire something from Sebastian, Lorraine? I've been telling her that we should live together since forever! But she wants to live alone."

Jimin eyed Lorraine curiously as she looked up with a fake smile on her face, bitter.

"You're not my sibling, Ana. I'm more than willing to live with my brother too, but our works are different and require travelling."

He didn't quite understand Lorraine's grumpy mood at first then realised throughout their many conversations that she was only grumpy towards Ana. Maybe because the girl was childish and didn't quite miss a chance to claim Lorraine her best friend or sister. Sebastian thought it was cute, and the kind of thing Xander always did.

Xander was his favourite brother, probably because he was the littlest. Felix always bullied him anyways.

Nonetheless, the group was quite fun. They didn't make any inner jokes to make Sebastian feel outcasted or anything.

He felt good.

Lorraine was held onto the bed stomach first, hard chest pressing on her back as one strong arm gripped at her hips while the other cupped her jaw from behind, his thumb rubbing over her lower lip before making its way in her mouth.

She moaned hotly around the thumb as Jimin lapped his mouth onto her shoulder and neck...

"Lorraine, I highly doubt you know how to drive." Sebastian raised his eyebrow in scepticism as Lorraine took a sharp turn for the umpteenth time.

"Please." Lorraine tsked, it wasn't her fault he's been that way last night. "You're a distraction."

"I barely talked." He defended to which she rolled her eyes. It didn't take much time for Sebastian to register what she was referring to, his plump lips turning into a coy smile. "I definitely was."

"You remember?" She asked.

"It's hazy."

"Hazy memories of steamy scenes, you must be having the time of your life." She smirked, maintaining her gaze on the road.

Hazy memories of steamy scenes with Lorraine Acker. Yeah, definitely having the time of my life.

"By the way, apologies for the teasing back there." She said. "Ana is a crackhead."

"She's a sweetheart." Sebastian grinned.

"Too childish." Lorraine sulked. Ana was embarrassing.

"Oops," Sebastian said all of a sudden and Lorraine knew why. They had reached the hotel but there were like a thousand people standing there.

"I'll take it from the back...uh...I'll take it from the underground parking lot. I'm sure there would be a lift from there." Lorraine said, looking around to find another way into the hotel. The mirrors were black thankfully so the fans and reporters couldn't see them. They were all already focused at the front of the hotel while their car was a few buildings away from there.

"The guards won't allow." Sebastian hissed.

"Unless we show them our faces." Lorraine corrected, driving towards the parking entrance and of course, the guard let them go after they showed him their faces. He was already frustrated by the crowd of people to bother as to why Sebastian Phoenix was with Lorraine Acker.

Lorraine parked down her Maserati Gran Turismo as the engine died down, a silence falling around them. She smiled faintly.

"Thanks, Sebastian." She said.

"For giving you a ride yesterday?"

"For making the best night of my life even better." She answered genuinely. "It was fun."

Sebastian laughed contagiously, his eyes crinkling from the sides and Lorraine couldn't help but admire.

"For how long are you in LA?" She asked quite abruptly and cursed internally at how eager she sounded.

"O-Oh..." Sebastian exclaimed, his laugh ceding. "I'm leaving today."

"Oh..."

"I come here often though, next time?" Sebastian smiled making her smile back. "Take my number."

They exchanged their numbers, hugging shortly before the singer left, leaving Lorraine smiling like an idiot.

It was a two-hour ride from the hotel Sebastian was staying into her home in the hills, but Lorraine finally reached there. One of the guards rushing to open her car door as she stepped out, another taking her coat. Her heels clicked through the pebble path, screaming it was her territory.

She looked so sophisticated but from inside, she wasn't. At least not right now. She was finding two people who always gave her happiness. No matter what. Her smile grew bigger as she saw one of them running towards her with the same contagious smile. Letting out a silent scream, Antoinette jumped into Lorraine's arms. She was Lorraine's assistant but also the person she spent most of her time with. And so, she was someone Lorraine Acker could just be... Lorraine Acker, without intimidating someone.

"You did it! You did it! You did it!" Antoinette screamed, jumping while hugging Lorraine, making the latter lose her balance.

"Yes, yes. I did it! And we'll celebrate in the best way possible. Get off, I can't breathe!" Lorraine chuckled as Antoinette stepped back, squealing a little.

"Okay, before we get all cosy on the sofa..." The assistant started. "Quick update: social media is on fire-"

Lorraine huffed while rolling her eyes.

"I've told you, I don't like social media crap. All I know is I'll burn everything if those apps cause even a penny to my income." She said savagely and her assistant sighed in defeat as well.

"Alright, I'll handle it. It wasn't anything bad though."

Lorraine just ignored it. She didn't control her social media accounts, she wasn't even on Twitter. Mostly because she's seen her friends getting into scandals and law troubles. She had plenty to add up more. Lorraine smiled satisfactorily.

"Now- where's my baby?" She asked, eyes wandering through the vast yard to look for her said baby. As if he heard her, he came running, his golden fur wooshing back because of the wind against him as he barked. Lorraine's eyes widened in adorable surprise as she got on her knees to acknowledge him. He kept his paws on Lorraine's thighs, licking her face as she stroked, hugged and kissed him.

"Fantastic, baby I missed you."

It was her golden retriever- Fantastic. Her family. Apart from Tom Acker, though.

And she was complete.

*

This was the end of Sebastian. He knew it.

His two brothers had cornered him. They were sitting around him, to trap him. Sending death glares each time he looked up from the table. He could swear there was smoke coming out of Xander's ears. He was the maddest. Considering how vaguely he had explained to him why he couldn't come back to the hotel last night on the call.

Felix cleared his throat, cutting the tension as Sebastian flinched slightly.

"We give you a fair trial to speak, Sebastian." He said in an authoritarian tone. "What do you have in defence?"

Sebastian licked his lips. "I'll tell you the truth. Remember when I went out to the balcony to take some fresh air?"

Both the Phoenix brothers nodded at the third one and he continued.

"I...went to a party with Lorraine Acker."

Xander poked his tongue in his cheek. Although he was the youngest, he was also the buffest of them all, had brown eyes like their father and long mullet hair.

"So you left us, to fuck some actress."

"Don't be so rude, Xander!" Sebastian shouted. "She's Lorraine Acker."

"Oh no– I'm not believing you had sex with Lorraine Acker. You just went behind the first woman you saw at the party."

"Shut up! I went with Lorraine Acker and for your wisdom, there are no random actresses on the night of Oscars."

"Shut up! Both of you!" Felix shouted. "Sebastian, you deserted us, do you know how worried we were?"

"I'm sorry, okay? She needed a ride because she was drunk, so I gave her one and she invited me in."

"And we're supposed to believe that Lorraine fucking Acker didn't have a driver," Xander debated.

"She didn't, apparently." Sebastian shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay..." the littlest said, his eyes now gleaming with curiosity. "How was it?"

"How was what?"

"You know... having sex with Lorraine Acker, how was it?"

Sebastian laid his back on the couch, eyeing each one of his brothers with hooded eyes, thinking of a comeback that'll leave them floored. He clicked his tongue and shrugged his shoulders.

"She bites back."
