“Thank you Dumeny for all your help.” I said and played with my fingers. Why this all have to be so awkward?

Dumeny chucked and brushed it off as if it was nothing. “We have been friends for all these years Emmy. This is only natural that we help each other.” He said and looked back at the sea.

I don’t know if it was the stupid me who was waiting for a comeback or if it was the fact that we have shared the space for the first time in so many years alone, my instincts took over me.

I think it needs more details because you're not giving a lot of details and a lot of updates I think you need to add more updates and chapters everyone's been really patient but patience is wearing thin
