"I…" she uttered, losing all her words. Luna pulled herself back to her senses and quickly moved her eyes away from him, or should we say, from his body.

"The food is ready," she was preventing his eyes that remained at her. She turned her back and was ready to leave the room with embarrassment and awkwardness.

Coming there was a mistake. She should have just waited for him to go downstairs!

"Wait," Gavin said with his baritone voice. Her feet stopped in front of his door. Her heart was pounding so fast and her breathing suddenly became heavy as if she was holding it back.

She gulped as she bit her lower lip. She looked like a stone who was standing there, could not even move.

"Why are your cheeks burning?" He asked and heard his footsteps coming towards her. She crumpled her hands and became even more stone.

"It's just hot!" She exclaimed with a bit of surprise when she turned around and saw Gavin standing in front of her, wearing those blank eyes. She buried
