Chapter 20 – Iris : The POWER

The air became static it was filled with power almost like an electrical charge rushing through the air. Time felt irrelevant the surge in my body was all that mattered. I could feel this ever growing power continuing to grow and I liked it. I hungered for it, whatever it was that was awakening inside me felt incredible and dare I say possibly addictive. The burning sensation in my eyes had returned and my vision was now purple. I could feel tremors all around me, I think the tremors were coming from the ground beneath me the more I thought about healing myself the more the power and tremors grew. My intuition keeps telling me I can do it … heal myself … As my spin came to a stop a voice called out to me.

“Iris?? Are you ok? Iris…?”

Turning off my walkman I saw a man standing watching me, the feeling of power and burning in my eyes dissipated.

“Johnny? Oh hey.” A thought quickly entered
