Chapter 6 – Johnny: To the rescue
After me and Will finish our jog we head straight over to the museum. I have a few things to do while over there and Will takes this opportunity to spend a little time with his mate. I mind link Rae to let her know we are here and are in my office. She informs me she’s in a meeting with Ms Davis and could be awhile. Will is naturally bummed as he wants to see his mate so I send him away to grab a couple of coffees from Starbucks, so I don’t have to deal with his pining for my sister. Since being back at the museum Azell had been pacing in my head, his pacing became more frequent and none stop as the minutes passed, it was slowly driving me insane giving me a headache. He had no idea what was wrong but knew something somewhere wasn’t right. Will had been gone around 15 minutes when my sister mind linked me in absolute panic.

When I awoke at 6 it felt like my head had only just hit the pillow. I still felt exhausted. My body ached all over and my hand was throbbing. I probably should rest some more, but I really wanted to spend more time with Johnny and Rae. I loosely tied up my hair and took a couple of pain killers, and grabbed a shower to wake myself up. I reluctantly agreed to drop Iris back at her hotel after seeing the doctor. Even Jackson had worries. I’ve known Jackson a long time he helps out the pack whenever needed. Sunlight streamed into the room bouncing off my face, I could feel its warmth blessing my skin. Johnny’s arm wrapped around my waist, comforting sparks rushing throughout my body. We were so exhausted last night we didn’t even both to dress again after showering. Last night was incredible it chased away all my fear and anxiety that was hanging over me.
