Ava’s POV

I didn’t expect my first time to feel anything like this.

People romanticize it in movies soft background music, perfect timing, perfect words. Others say it’s awkward, confusing, a mix of pain and curiosity. Some insist it should be magical. Others say it’s just another moment that people overhype.

But none of those descriptions match what I’m feeling right now.

Because nothing about this is scripted.

Nothing about tonight was planned.

And Kael…

Kael was never supposed to be mine.

We weren’t lovers. Not officially. Not publicly. Not even privately. We were something undefined, something dangerous, something that existed in the spaces between friendship and something more. Almost-lovers. That was the unspoken label.

There was no agreement. No conditions. No expectations.

We were on this yacht because he invited me

casually, confidently, like it was nothing.

“Ava, come with me for a week. No work. No noise. Just… space.”

I said yes, though I didn’t know why. Or m

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 18

Ava’s POVMorning came softly, like it was afraid to wake us.I knew I was awake long before I opened my eyes because Kael’s arm was heavy around my waist, solid and warm, his breathing steady against the back of my neck. The city outside was quiet in that rare, suspended moment before it remembered how to be loud. For a few seconds, I let myself pretend we were still on the yacht. No skyline. No obligations. No invisible countdown ticking above our heads.Just this.I shifted slightly, testing the space between us. Kael didn’t stir. That alone felt dangerous. Kael Ravenwood didn’t sleep deeply. He was always alert, always in control. Seeing him like this unguarded, human made something ache in my chest.I stared at the ceiling, my thoughts spiraling. This wasn’t supposed to happen.I agreed to his arrangement because I needed stability. Leverage. Time. He needed an image, a companion, someone who could play a role without asking questions. It was clean. Simple. Temporary. I told mys

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 17

Kael’s POV Reality had a nasty way of creeping back in just when things were finally starting to feel perfect. We returned to the yacht the next day. Ava was quiet, staring at the ocean as if trying to solve something in her head but refusing to say it aloud. I gave her space. I didn’t know if it was because of the sea breeze or because we were heading back to a reality neither of us could escape from. For the past few days, it felt like we were suspended in some kind of dream. Just me, her, and the ocean. Nothing to think about but each other. No calls, no business meetings, no deals. I didn’t even know when the line between arrangement and real feelings began to blur. I’d never say it out loud, but I liked waking up with her beside me. I liked how she hogged the sheets, how she murmured in her sleep. I even liked how she raised an eyebrow whenever I kissed her shoulder just to annoy her. Now we were back in my world, and suddenly I wasn’t sure I wanted to stay in it without her

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 16

Ava’s POV The days passed quickly. It felt like just yesterday that I said “fine” to that one-week extension. Back then, I thought it would be hard to spend more time with him the same man I once called arrogant, manipulative, and insufferably persistent. But now, on our last night on the island… saying goodbye felt impossible. Tomorrow, we’ll return to the yacht. And after the yacht… back to the real world. I glanced at the man across from me as we lay together in the hammock-style net he’d made more “comfortable” with soft throw pillows. David wore only board shorts, and I was draped in the thin, almost transparent white robe he’d picked up for me at the boutique yesterday. “I want you to remember tonight,” he whispered in my ear, fingers playing with a lock of my hair. “Not because it’s the last… but because it’s the best.” I didn’t answer right away. My body simply nodded, while my heart wrapped itself slowly around feelings I didn’t know how to name fear, excitement, lo

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 15

Ava’s POV The next morning. I woke up to the scent of salt and honey. The salt, I expected from the sea breeze that filtered through the open cabana. The new honey. But when I opened my eyes and turned to my side, I found a small tray on the bed a fresh mango smoothie, a croissant drizzled with golden syrup, and a tiny card with only two words written in David’s annoyingly charming scrawl. “Stay longer.” I smiled, biting my lip. “This man,” I whispered, shaking my head. I stretched under the silk sheets, feeling the dull ache between my thighs a tender reminder of the night we barely slept. We weren’t wild, not this time. We were quiet, slow, and intentional. It felt different. Like we were learning each other all over again, every sigh, every soft gasp, every kiss that lingered a little too long. I wrapped the sheet around my body and stepped outside the cabana barefoot. The sand was warm beneath my feet, and the early morning sun was just beginning to rise, painting the

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 14

Ava’s POV I had no idea what time it was when a strange sensation pulled me out of sleep. A gentle breeze brushed against my skin, softer than the cold bite of the ocean wind. There was no sound of waves slapping against the yacht. No steady hum of the engine. The air felt different. The atmosphere felt different. My brows slowly furrowed. When I opened my eyes, we were no longer in the middle of the sea. “What the hell…?” I whispered, pushing myself upright. I swung my legs over the bed and walked toward the cabin window. The moment I looked outside, I froze. We were docked. In front of me was an island that seemed almost unreal. The sand was fine, almost white, and tall palm trees swayed gracefully in the breeze. There were villas scattered across the landscape not the kind you’d see anywhere, but elegant wooden structures, each with private pools and infinity views of the ocean. It looked like something straight out of a travel magazine or worse, a honeymoon destinat

  • Irresistible Sin   Chapter 13

KaeL’S POV I’ve had women. Too many, if I’m being completely honest. The kind who came because of my name. My world. My wealth. My reputation. Or the thrill of saying they’ve been with Kael Ravenwood. None of them ever looked at me the way she does. Not because of what I can offer. But simply… because she chose to. Ava Delos Reyes. A woman who walked into my life like an accident, stayed like a storm, and touched something in me I didn’t think existed anymore. Tonight, she’s in my arms not as someone I paid for, not as someone bound to me by a deal but as a woman who opened the door willingly, despite not knowing what waited behind it. And God… I’ve never been more undone. She’s lying beneath me, her eyes soft yet steady, like she’s afraid of nothing. Like she’s ready for whatever my touch could mean. She doesn’t look away. She doesn’t flinch. She welcomes me raw, vulnerable, breathtaking. I cup her face gently, almost reverently. “Ava…” I wh
