“Aren’t you curious even in the slightest?” Mela asked again, it’s been three days and I’d managed to master the art of ignoring her.

At this rate, I could just go home. But with what she was ranting on and on about a full moon, I didn’t want to risk it. I remember my curiosity getting the better of me last night and I had tried to google lycanthropy but soon remembered that there was no internet this deep in the woods.

I’ve also managed to talk to it……. her, whatever the fuck she claimed to be, without muttering to myself like a crazy person.

“I could tell you a lot of things that you do not know……”

“You will not annoy me, you will not talk to me…… you are going to leave me alone” I said, not bothering to stop myself from saying it out loud.

“I need to prepare you for the shift! Stop being so stubborn!”

She screeched and blinding pain shot throughout my body.
