The Strange Night

My father replied " I saw your bicycle at the gate of that house . I was going to pick them up suddenly it disappeared and a boy stood infront of me with white gown and his eyes were black as a coal. He said to me go back from where you came .I want to ask him about that house but he suddenly disappeared . When I was sitting in a car what I see that same child in window of that house .And I came back . My mother replied " Allice and Jacob mare telling me the same thing from two days " My father staring at us replied " It's ok we will stay here .It might be possible that the child is pranking with us . Jacob replied " But it's not 1sst of April ." My father replied " Jacob I am serious . We are not going anywhere ."

We all went to sleep .

At midnight , when I wake up to drink water I noticed someone standing in the window .He was staring at us .What I noticed" He had greasy hair, a peculiar smile,  bulging eyes,  long fingers and unkempt hair." I was again dead scared. The howling wind rattled the windowpanes in the bitter, damp night outside. I twisted and turned under my thin covers. My teeth chattered in the chilly air around me. I couldn't sleep. My sweat dripped down my forehead and my heart was thumping hard at my chest. I was always afraid of the dark. Again what I see another old man .He was wearing a silky, black coat but it was too long for him that it trailed down the floor. He was also wearing a golfers hat. The man turned his head towards me and smiled. My eyes were wide with terror and fear and for a moment I thought my whole body was going to collapse.

AND SUDDENLY I WOKE UP . It was a night mare …..a …terrible night mare . I feel a sense of dizziness and confusion as I was  pulled up into reality from the dream world. I  was too worried . I turned on the light .I went to Jacob room and I was going to wake him up that suddenly...….

I was going to wake JACOB that suddenly , I saw that boy in place of Jacob . He was in the bed smiling at me . I  began shouting . Suddenly , Jacob came from now where and that boy disappeared. My mom and dad also came after listening my shout . They stood infront of me asked "What happened ? " I replied in constant fear "Nothing ,in particular .Jacob where were you ? " He was groggy and disoriented for several minutes and then he replied " I was with Mom and Dad because I was feeling afraid ". I asked then who was in your bed ? My father trying to ignore the scene replied "Nothing !you would have seen a nightmare or the story I told you is still in your mind ? Forget it ! Go and sleep ."

It was a very long night . I  was going to my room .It was still 3 p.m. . Suddenly, I hear some footsteps on the stair. I was going towards it that I heard someone's  laughter on my back .I turned but there was no one .The dust was  floating in the air and was coating the tongue. I turned back to the stairs , and I  hide behind the railing of stairs . I saw my father coming from the stairs .He went through the stairs to the dinning room .The dining room chair suddenly jolted back and tilted towards  my father, a gracious invitation by an invisible host. I was scared .  I was going to make my way back into the hallway, but I stood at the foot of the staircase, and was looking at my father .    I started to think what I should do ; Go back or stay and see my father . My heart was not ready to leave my father alone but it was also not ready to stay alone here .I again hide behind the rail . My father was talking to someone invisible . He was saying " why ?why we should go back , and who who are you ?. and why are you frightening my children?" . I could hear nothing . But then alarming situation was waiting for us .

The light went .Just then, I heard a pleasing sound far off. At first, I confused it with the pattering of rain; the sound of heavy and distinct drops. I got up and looked out of the closest window. It wasn't raining. I went back to my room and closed my eyes.
