TaylorI was in a deep, peaceful sleep when suddenly, I felt a terrible pain in my belly. Like the worst menstrual cramps in the world, times ten. My first instinct was to panic, but when I felt the warm rush of water flow between my legs and onto the mattress underneath me, I became strangely calm. DrewNinety-six days. That’s how long I’ve been laid up in this filth hole, fighting for my life. I don’t know what those Blue Moon fucks did to me, but I haven’t heard from my wolf Killian since I woke up, and without him, I’ve been unable to heal properly. Three months of lying in bed, dealing with the pain of shattered knee caps, third-degree burns, broken bones, deep gashes and punctures, and disgusting infections. MattThree months later …It took a lot of convincing, but I was finally able to convince Taylor not to call off the baby shower that our moms had worked so hard to plan. Shortly after Drew disappeared, we told her parents what was happening so that they would take precautions. That meant that we also had to tell them that their daughter was now a wolf. When they found out, Robert and Nancy refused to take our calls for weeks, but I think they were more hurt that they were kept in the dark than anything else. Eventually, they came around, and now here we are, about to celebrate the fact that our daughter would be born in less than four weeks. I admit that it was hard to celebrate, but Taylor needed the distraction. We all did. There hadn’t been one sighting of Drew since he escaped, and we had no clue where to find him.
