Chapter 96

Author: Bromelia Fische
Upstairs, Troy was soaking in the bathtub when he heard footsteps approaching.

He frowned, wondering who it could be.

A moment later, Khloe's shy voice floated in from the bathroom door.

"Mr. Ragnar, I have some fresh clothes. Would you like me to bring them in?"

Troy cleared his throat, slightly puzzled. "Just leave them by the door. I'll grab them in a bit."

"Okay! Do you want me to bring them in for you?"

Troy blinked, his face showing a moment of confusion. How was Khloe supposed to bring them in? After all, he was sitting there completely naked.

Thinking she was only playing, Troy smirked and decided to tease her. "Sure, go ahead and bring them in."

Three seconds later, the bathroom door handle turned, and Khloe stepped inside.

Troy froze, his mind going blank for a moment. "What…"

Regina screamed in terror, her tears falling rapidly as she collapsed to the ground, choking on her sobs. "Troy, I'm really sorry! I'm begging you, please forgive me. I-I was blind. I shouldn't have crossed you!" she pleaded desperately. Troy stood over her, looking down with a faint, mocking smile curling at the corner of his lips. "Now you're regretting it? I gave you a chance earlier," he spat coldly.Regina suddenly threw herself at his feet, clutching his legs as she wiped her tears away, her voice shaky. "I really made a mistake. Please let me go... I won't fight back. Please don't hit me... I've had plastic surgery. You can't hit my face.""You're still thinking about your face at a time like this?" Troy laughed, the tone dripping with sarcasm.Regina flinched at his laughter, her tears streaming more freely now. Through her sobs, she gasped, "Please, just let me go... I'll do anything, anything you want. I'll serve you—I'll do whatever it takes."Troy raised an eyeb

A large man sneered at Troy, his voice dripping with malice. "Kid, you'd better grovel and apologize to Ms. Wood. If you slap yourself ten times and let us give you a good beating, this whole thing will be over."Troy chuckled coldly. "How much did Regina pay you to come here? If you beat her to a pulp for me, I'll double it."For a moment, Regina's face shifted with surprise. She quickly recovered, and let out a mocking laugh. She walked over to the group of thugs and smiled sweetly at Troy. "They can't be bought with money." With that, she took one of the thug's hands and placed it on her curvy, sensual leg. She looked up at Troy, her smile now devious. "I can offer this. Can you?"Troy's eyes widened in realization. "You really have no shame. You gave yourself to all these guys?"The thug's hand squeezed Regina's leg with a wicked grin. "Yeah, we all got a piece of her. What are you going to do about it?"Troy stood there, stunned. "You're into group action now? I never thoug

Frank walked up to Troy with a face full of respect. "I can't thank you enough for stepping in today. As I said before, the Langstaffs are fully at your disposal. No matter what you ask of us, we will go to any lengths to serve you, even if it means risking our lives!"Troy gave a light smile. "You're being too kind. Khloe and I are friends. If you need anything, just let me know."Frank was visibly excited. "Of course!""Alright. I have things to attend to, so there's no need for anyone to see me off," Troy said as he turned to leave the villa. In the living room, Frank looked at Khloe with a grin. "So? How did it go?"Khloe's face turned red, and she struggled to keep her composure. "I-It was fine," she replied, trying to sound calm.Frank chuckled. "I saw you coming down the stairs with him earlier. If I'm not mistaken, you were just in the bathroom, weren't you?""Grandpa!" Khloe's face burned with embarrassment as she quickly covered her face with her hands.Godfrey, sta

In an instant, both Khloe and Troy stiffened.Khloe's face was pressed against the water's surface, while Troy was half-reclining. She was straddling him, their gazes locking in a silent, intense moment. The water soaked through her clothes, clinging to her figure and highlighting her curves in the most tantalizing way. Troy swallowed hard, his voice thick with barely contained desire. "Do you know what you're doing?"Khloe's voice trembled as she replied, "I do."Troy's voice dropped even lower. "And you're still doing it?"A flicker of something deeper appeared in Khloe's eyes, a glimmer of unspoken emotion. She spoke softly, her voice laced with something both tender and daring, "I told you... I'm willing to do anything, as long as you don't mind."Before Troy could even respond, Khloe's lips pressed gently against his, silencing him. The soft, cool sensation of her kiss sent a shiver through him; a sweet, dizzying wave of sensation that made his heart race.Khloe's small ha

Khloe looked at Troy with tear-filled eyes, her gaze hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking. For a moment, Troy fell silent, taken aback by the depth of emotion in her eyes. After a long pause, he shifted the conversation, trying to avoid the awkward tension. "Could you prepare a place for me to wash up? I smell like blood, and I really need a shower."Khloe's body trembled slightly at his request, but she didn't say anything else. She nodded, then turned and headed upstairs to fill the bathtub for him.Downstairs, Troy stood quietly with a cigarette dangling from his lips, lost in his thoughts. He wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. He felt that Khloe shouldn't have feelings for him—he was hardly the kind of person someone would fall for. His actions and demeanor were rough, like those of a thug. He didn't understand what she possibly saw in him.Meanwhile, Frank had organized the cleanup of the bodies outside. He entered the room with a serious look on his face. Looking at T

Tears streamed down Serpent's face uncontrollably. His face turned pale, twisted with fear as he choked out, "S-Sir, I'm really sorry… Please...spare me."Troy's voice was cold and indifferent. "Go."Serpent trembled, shocked at the sudden turn of events. His voice quivered with disbelief. "I-I can go?""Yeah." Troy casually played with a coin he pulled from his pocket."Okay... Thank you, sir!" Serpent slowly turned away, his body shaking as he took one trembling step after another. Behind him, Troy shook his head and flicked the coin between his fingers. The coin turned into a blur, shooting through the air and embedding itself into the back of Serpent's head with a sickening thud. The coin, stained with blood, shot out from Serpent's mouth, leaving a trail of red as his body crashed to the ground."I said you could go, not that you could live," Troy muttered, his tone as cold as ice.The courtyard was eerily silent, the ground littered with lifeless bodies. It was as if the scene had switched like a film reel, or as though the space itself had shifted. Troy's speed surpassed all limits. In the span of a single breath—no, not even that—within a millisecond, his body was already in front of Serpent and the others, his hand raised to strike! Figures flew through the air as though they had been struck by a hundred-ton truck. Yet there was no scream, no cry of pain. The people Troy hit instantly lost consciousness, their bodies flung away like discarded sacks of dirt."Too weak," Troy muttered, shaking his head. With a single punch, the man in front of him crumpled—his ribs shattered, his chest caved in, and he stopped breathing.Troy kicked out sharply, hitting the legs of the people around him. Crack! Crack! The sound of bones breaking echoed as a single kick shattered their legs. Pained screams filled the air.A machete sliced through the air toward Troy, but he sidestepped with ease. His hand darted out like lightning to grip

The figure on the wall sneered coldly, his voice rough and menacing."Why should I listen to you? If I kill your son and your family, aren't your possessions mine too?" Frank's face twisted into a snarl, his despair transforming into an unsettling, ferocious resolve. A sudden shift in his aura filled the air. Gone was the defeated, elderly look he had worn moments before—now, there was something different about him, something dangerous. Standing tall, Frank's eyes flashed with cold determination. "Fine. If you insist on wiping out the Langstaffs, then I'll fight to the death. I'll make sure you regret it!" With that, Frank's entire demeanor changed. His body became agile, far more so than it had any right to be for someone his age. In an instant, he lunged forward, charging directly at Serpent and his men. The crowd watched in stunned silence as Frank moved with a speed and skill that defied belief. He barreled into them, fists flying and feet kicking with precision. One
