Hindi ko magawang tignan ang duke dahil alam ko sa isipan niya palang ay gusto niya na akong tirisin.

Ibinagsak niya ang hawak niyang pansulat at malamig akong tinignan. He took his white handkerchief under his desk and stood while wiping his own hands using the handkerchief. Tinalikuran niya ako at dumiretso sa may bintana.

"Alam mo ba kung bakit sa anim na babae na nagmula sa malalakas na pamilya ay ikaw ang napiling ipakasal sa kan'ya?"
