ALEXIS'S POV

I turn on the knob and twist it to warm water . I let the water wash away my troubles . Every time I am in a bad mood , I decide to let the water do it's work and cleanse me , even if it doesn't work sometimes , at the very least it's a bit relaxing . Something is better than nothing is it not ?

As I'm in the shower , I hear a knock on the door , followed by Alec and Michael's voices . 

" Guys ... did you hear something strange last night ? " Michael asks . My hands freeze during mid - shampooing .

Their voices fade out , they probably moved to another room . I finish my shower as quickly as I can , not wanting to miss the conversation that was about to occur . I wash my hair , body and pat myself dry in less than 2 minutes . Then I brush my teeth and throw on the clothes that I set aside for me .     " They are healing up nicely " the pack doctor tells me and I sigh with relief . I'm glad we decided to ask a neighbouring pack doctor for help ( Alpha Reiner ) . Apparently , Dianna .. I mean , Mom , was successful in convincing him after all and he doesn't seem to have a problem with her meeting me anymore as long as she doesn't come close to Dracula in the slightest . The pack doctor was a good call , those injuries were not my cup of tea at all . Michael was pacing around outside the room the whole time . The guilt was eating him alive . He was with Michelle at the time and his phone was outside their room . I don't blame him and I'm honestly glad that he wasn't there when it happened . Because then what happened to Alec could have happened to him as well . I blame myself for what happened to Alec . I was the one who called him , I should have just went myself without him .
