I open it .
" Jace ! " I jump in his arms and he staggers , holding my waist to steady me .
" Good morning to you too , love . " He grins , seeming satisfied .
I smile .
" Greet me like this everyday " His hand fiddles with the strap of my dress and then trails down my arm followed by fiery tingles.
" And get you accustomed to higher standards ? I don't think so . " I tease him .
" Did you put on makeup ? You look even more gorgeous today . " He licks his lips as he gives me a one over . I notice how he said ' even more ' so I couldn't come back with the usual line us girls use .
" Kayla did it for me . " I shrugged .
" Well , Kayla has got to teach me some tips . " He growled teasingly as his arms enclose my waist and pull me tight against him . I rest my head on his chest and chuckle .
" What ? You'll do my makeup for me ? " I laugh .

" They are healing up nicely " the pack doctor tells me and I sigh with relief . I'm glad we decided to ask a neighbouring pack doctor for help ( Alpha Reiner ) . Apparently , Dianna .. I mean , Mom , was successful in convincing him after all and he doesn't seem to have a problem with her meeting me anymore as long as she doesn't come close to Dracula in the slightest .
