Third Person Pov
Michael waits , lying down on the floor mattress , pretending to be asleep . He listens intensely for the sign of her slumber .
As soon as her breathing transitions from quick shallow bouts to deep and regular , he raises his head , taking a peak . Her tear stained face seemed to be at peace at last . He resists the urge to growl from frustration .
' How could he do this to his own mate ? ' He thinks in anger , however , he couldn't bring himself to completely blame him . It wasn't because Jace was his Alpha , it was just that Michael understood clearly wolf behaviour and wolf urges . Even he himself hasn't seen wolves who were unclaimed around their mate during a full moon , the results are catastrophic .

Third Person Pov Suddenly there was a knock on the door . " M.. Michael .. Alec ? Are you there ? " Alexis called out with a nervous voice . Alec and Michael look at each other and then at Jace . Alexis's Pov I was half asleep when I felt something poking my arm . Thinking it was some kind of insect , I yelp and suddenly get up to turn on the table light right next to the bed . The next morning I lazily get up , purposely pushing it even though I was awake . I keep my eyes closed and force myself to sleep more , turning over possibly a hundred times . Soon enough I give up and get up from bed .I check the time .9 am.Not bad . I thought it would be 11 am by now .By the time I shower and get ready , it's 11 . I don't dare to fall asleep . Better yet , I can't fall asleep would be a more accurate representation of what I'm going through . I am not used to insomnia , usually I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow . After all , sleep is the only escape that I have from the real world . I can finally experience calmness and peace , something I stuggle with in my day to day life . That's no excuse though . I can't sleep away all of my problems . And it seems that in this generation , no one has known peace , I'm not special . I sigh and turn , desperate for a little nap before it hits 2 am . I check the time . It's only 11 PM .
