I can’t let this madness continued. “I am Kayla, a senior detective at Winster county PD ask me your questions?” I said to the reporters to remove their attention from the sheriff. “I received a tip about…” they kept coming at me. I quickly handled the situation, “the tip you received shows that there is a mole, because this is an official sting operation it is not supposed to be public” I answered.
“Do you have idea who the mole might be?” they asked. “ I am not at liberty to discuss an ongoing investigation” I said with finality.

Emma’s POV As I came to the driveway in the morning, I found protesters everywhere with their posters, “We want a secured Winster county,” “Catch the murderer,” do your work,” “Justice for Albert” among others. Sheriff Morgan’s POV Back at the investigation room, we discussed at length on how to control the situation and also give hope to the citizens of Winster county. “Agent Tom, care to join us for the conference?” I asked, I was looking for increased credibility before the media and the general public Agent Tom’s POV “I wouldn’t mind” I said in response, “the best way to make the perpetrators come out of their shell is to look strong and unbiased” I continued. Vin’s POV I was standing behind Emma the whole time, all of a sudden I saw that he was uneasy, then I followed the direction of his eye, I saw what going on, I quickly pushed the sheriff out of the bullet direction as everyone ducked, the bullet hit and penetrated the wall. Agent Tom’s POV I quickly surveyed the scene, I got clues from the organizer to the security, they need to be brought in for questioning. I found that the tire belongs to an SUV. “How come that Tanner guy looked familiar?” I kept asking myself. I must carefully follow this lead to gain the upper hand in this case because so far it seems to be going nowhere. Tanner’s POV Thankfully, the bullet just grazed my shoulder, so I had to tie a bandage around it. “Damn! This stuff hurts” I muttered to myself. At least I have gotten my revenge on old Morgan. The image of the man standing like a statue behind Morgan, “have I really seen him or is it just déjà vu?” I was brought back the beep on my burner phone. It is the boss! Smith’s POV As I saw the news this evening, I was really pissed off with Tanner, he is all brawn but no common sense. I have to address this case. “I want to see your foolish arse, where the hell are you?...”

Emma’s POV Through the night we kept looking for possible clues by replaying the various clips on hand and the CCTV footages. Agent Tom just went to sleep immediately, “good night guys and don’t breakdown” he said and quickly dozed off in the nearby cushion. We all agreed with him because technically, there is nothing much we can achieve in such state. We all went to bed. I was woken up by my phone’s beep around 5:15 am, it was Stanley. “Good morning bro” I said in response to his greeting, he wanted to catch up on the recent development. After a lengthy conversation, he told me of his intentions to visit Kate today. “Guys wake up! We should visit the sheriff!” I shouted to wake the sleepyheads: Vin and Kayla. Agent Tom was already awake. We all hope for the best, not just for Morgan but for all Winster county to be safe. Vin’s POV When we got the hospital, we quickly raced to the ICU, old Morgan was just lying helpless
