   I kept a straight face in the car,I think Xavier notice my mood cuz he also kept quiet and he kept throwing stares repeatedly.

    Just then my phone rang and I checked the caller ID before picking up.

  "Watsup sweetie?the voice yelled

   "Hey,Dave am good"I replied

"And how's is xav"I heard jessica voice

"Can you just shut up miss"Dave yelled at her and I chuckled.

   "I've missed you "Dave said

"I missed you guys too especially you Dave"I replied.

   "Are you guys cheating on me". Jessica Yelled.

   "Of course not sweetheart,I prefer you to him"I said.

  "You don't mean it"Dave cried

  "Swears,I love you the most"I cheered.

  "Eww,valerie you're killing two birds with just a stone"Jessica Complained.

    Dave and jessica Had been my best friends and they are like a family to me.

     They cheered me on when i was fed up of my mom'S attitude.

    Dave is over protective and Jessica Always there when I need her,they are the best to me.

   My thoughts were cut off when I notice's the car wasn't moving,I faced Xavier.

   "You done?he asked and I felt a little bit of anger tingling in his voice.

   'Yeah"I replied not caring about it.

   Dave and Jessica Made my morning.

"So,we have to act like couples that are in love, my parents are in there and my mom might ask you extra questions.

    "Please,don't fuck it up,let's get this done and we go our separate ways"he jabbed and I nodded.

    That's the best for us,going our separate ways,I know nothing can happen between us and all the more reason for me to fake love him.

    Xavier opened the door and I walked out,he inter whined our hands together and we walked in.

    "Good day Mister Winthrop" Xavier's workers greeted as we pass by and Xavier didn't even bother to replied back.

  " ignore them"Xavier muttered and wrapped his hands round my waist, immediately I felt a cold blood rushed in my veins,i smiled inwardly staring at his hand that hold my waist firmly.

  Xavier input the last floor and the elevator opened,he gestured me to walk in first before he did.

   The ride in the elevator was so boring and I felt hot,Xavier's eyes were not leaving my face and even when our eyes meet am always stopping the stares.

   His stares was getting much and I was forced to ask him why.

  "Do I have something on my face?" I asked him and he nodded.

  "Then why were you staring at me like ----

Immediately I felt butterfly's dancing happy feet in my stomach like it was about to burst,no doubt my face is all red now.

  "Dave is lucky to have you" I heard him muttered and my blush season stopped .

   The elevator open and stopped Xavier staring season.

   We stopped in front of an office which I guess was his becus his name was boldly written there XAVIER WINTHROP.

He gave me a reassuring smile and we walked in.

 "Oh,son you're here" a woman voice jerk me off my thought.

   "Thought you weren't gonna come though" a tiny voice yelled.

  "This is such a big surprise, can't believe someone finally stole your heart bro,am liyah Winthrop_ Xavier's sister" liyah walked towards me, before pulling hugging me.
