Chapter Thirty-Four

Noel is now weeks away from graduation and has yet to hear a single word from Harken or see him anywhere. She has gone to the pub a couple of times with Priscilla to visit Abel, but she has never caught sight of Harken and Abel, despite noticing her looking around, never saying anything about him.

It’s as if he has simply disappeared, and she is the only one who remembers he ever existed.
