Chapter Twenty Five
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒
“Charlie, hey Charlie” a husky voice cooed. Soft kisses were being spread across my face, over my eyelids, my forehead and cheeks. From the fireworks that were forming across my skin, I knew that it was Leo.
I let out an unappreciated groan, trying to snuggle deeper into the bed as I tried to fight off the kisses that bombarded me. The blankets were ripped away from my body, as I felt a cold breeze tickle my skin. I annoyingly opened my eyes to see a smug looking Leo standing over me, fully dressed and ready to go for the day.

I let out another groan as I looked towards the alarm clock. “It’s 5:00 in the morning, Leo.”

I could see the smoky black and grey tendrils slithering slowly across the forest floor, making there way towards me and I just stared with anticipation. Leo rolled his eyes at the grand entrance of the ghastly person forming from the shadows, but Pandora was thrilled that her Predestined was so extravagant. The smoky tendrils began to form what looked like a shadow, as I could see the outline of a tall man being assembled through the thick fog they created. His eyes shined a bright red, as he began to step forward. The ice-cold shards quickly began spreading throughout my entire body, faster now that the Vampire King had fully emerged. It sent a sense of calm pleasure through my spine, directly to Pandora who was shivering in anticipation.
