Chapter 18: Betrayal III

All people are born kind, and they just grew up being bad. That is one of the things that Allan will never forget. After all, it came from his dear mother whom he loves so much. But on a cold night, with his eyes just staring at the ceiling, it’s been so long since he changed into his nightgown for him to rest.

‘I have to sleep, yet here I am. Still wide awake’

Brushing away those thoughts, he changed his position.

Silence.

Even with him finding the most comfortable position he could ever have just for him to fall asleep, it was all in vain.

“Hah”

Finally, he gave up on doing so. After all, he would just be wasting his time rolling around as he couldn’t find the right place to sleep.
