Chapter 15

Lucas was pissed. He had seen the faint reddish mark on her neck when he was about to get the door for her and he didn’t question her on it because she also didn’t talk about it. But while listening to her heartbeat while in the car, he could tell just what it meant.

“Who touched you?” he asked again, his eyes brooding down at her and just by the way he spoke, Josephine could tell he was angry, but why?

Josephine didn’t know if she should tell Lucas about what happened or not because she was also trying to protect Michael. She parted her lips to speak but she quickly closed it and she bit the inside of her cheeks.
