The Wedding Day...

Josephine sat in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection and asking in her mind if she was making the right decision.

“Jose, think about it. You need to make him realize that you are over him and that he is not winning. Show him you moved on and you are a lot happier than when you were with him,” Matilda’s words came to her and a sigh escaped from her lips. It was not like she was having a second thought after telling Lucas she would be attending the wedding and he would come with her.

Josephine stood up from the small stool she sat on and walked to her bed where a lilac dress was neatly placed. She picked it and stared at it before putting it on.
