VII

DARKNESS...that was all Jun could see. Two pairs of arms dragged him into the depths of that darkness. He couldn't see anything, He couldn't speak anything. All he could do was to feel those two strong pairs of arms dragging him some were. One of them had their hand-pressed on Jun's mouth, making him unable to make any noise.

Jun kept on fighting with his body. He would try to pull his arms from those people but in vain. He tried kicking his legs mid-air, which made him tired and earned a tight slap on his face. Getting slapped became a chance for Jun to shout out for help,

"No, please..... Let me go"

He shouted on top of his lungs earning a kick behind his legs, Jun fell face first and started sobbing to himself.

"Please ..no. Let me go"

He cried to Himself when he felt those arms lifting him again. He gave up on trying, Jun knew no one would help him anymore. There were total of 4 boys holding him down and laughing like some psychopath. Tears streamed down the brunette's face as he saw the monsters closing up to him, He was terrified, shaken up. Like his soul left his body, Jun never felt this helpless.

"no-no..please"

Jun pleaded for one last time, hoping someone would help him.

"hush... It's ok Jun. It's just a dream"

a soft voice came through, Jun was startled but felt relieved somehow.

"Grandma...?"

Jun whispered, he knew that if there's no one for him he always has his grandma. Jun started to sob lightly, He saw a bright light forming in front of his eyes and a silhouette came out of it. The arms that were keeping him from running away, started to fade away in that bright light. He heard the same soft voice calling over him and said its all right.

Suddenly he started feeling warmth pass through his whole body through his forehead, Jun touched his forehead, and unknowingly a small smile was formed. Jun started to walk towards that bright light, trying to reach for that stranger who was helping him. Jun smiled a bit when he felt he reached the stranger, but as soon as their hands touched Jun woke up with a shock. As if he was pulled from the darkness and brought back to life.

Jun woke up, touched his face, and felt wet.

"I might have had the nightmare again"

Jun facepalmed himself and stood up to freshen up. When he saw himself in the bathroom mirror, Jun was shocked beyond words.

"Who...?"

was all Jun thought. Who would waste their time to tie such a perfect bandage and apply the ointments so thoroughly on him. Jun felt giddy, after all he wasn't used to anyone caring for him. He didn't know who did all this for him but he wanted to thank them.

"Yeon? no why would he even care"

Jun thought to himself as he changed the dirty clothes. A yellow long sleeve t-shirt gifted by his grandma with a sweatpant. He took one last look at himself in the mirror, avoiding those bandages. Taking a deep breath Jun decided to go out of his room when something caught his attention, there Laid a plate of breakfast which probably went cold by now. Never in his life, Jun expected anyone to prepare breakfast for him,

"might be Hwa"

Jun thought and took the plate along with him.

On his way to the living room, Jun halted on his steps as something caught up in his legs. As he looked down at what it was, he found a cute little puddle trying to get his attention. Jun lovingly stared at the puddle as he went back to flashback like in movies, He used to have a cute baby of his own, Toben his puppy. Toben Was his only happiness. But as the saying goes, Happy times don't last long. That's what happened with Jun when his mother and sister took toben away from him. They picked him up when Jun was sleeping and left the poor dog far away in some forest. Toben couldn't find his way back home. Jun's heart shattered as he couldn't find his happiness anywhere, he cried for weeks but not a single soul cared or tried to console him. Coming back to reality, Placing the plate on a nearby table. Jun picked up the little puddle and nuzzled his nose with the little creature.

"hey there cutie, what's your name?"

Jun mentally slapped himself as the words left his mouth. He can be weird sometimes. Jun smiled looking at the cute little fluff ball cuddling into his arms. With the dog still in his arms secured, Jun picked up the plate and made way to the living room. There he saw Hwa and Yeon were watching TV while eating breakfast. The dog barked out loud making Yeon notice his presence around him. As Yeon looked towards Jun the dog started wriggling in his arms, Jun had to let him get down or else he would have broken the plate. The dog ran towards Yeon and immediately sat on his lap, Yeon's hand running through his soft fur.

"hey you are already awake...I thought you'll sleep more. Did you sleep well?"

Yeon asked Jun as his dog settled down on his lap a bit more properly than before.

"umm... Yeah thank you for allowing me in here"

Jun said with a small smile but still awkward.

"Thank you, Hwa for the breakfast...if you don't mind can I use the kitchen to heat it a bit?"

Jun asked as he headed towards the both. Hwa nodded as her mouth was full, and Jun made his way towards the kitchen.

"Didn't you tell him that I can't cook for a living and it was you who left the plate for him"

Hwa started blabbering as soon as her bite was over. Yeon smiled a bit and just shook his head. Hwa just made a confused face and continued eating. 

Jun couldn't help but stare, he wanted to hold the puppy so bad. Yeon noticed that, he saw Jun staring at his dog.

"I think you already met my baby here. His name is Iseul, I hope you don't hate dogs."

Yeon said with a smile while petting his baby dog, Jun shooked his head a bit too eagerly indicating that no he didn't hate dogs.

"That's a nice name. I really love pets."

Jun replied with a smile.

"That's a relief to hear, do wanna hold him, I just remembered I have a call to make."

Yeon said as he tried to get up from his seat, walking towards Jun.

"Yes sure,"

Jun beamed and went to hold the puppy like a child. Yeon excused himself and smiled. Hwa didn't really like pets but it's not like she hated them, she would just felt tired because of them. As a result, Hwa would always avoid taking care of Iseul. Yeon went to his room and made the calls he needed to , when he returned he couldn't find Jun.

"Where are Iseul and Jun?"

Yeon asked to Hwa who just pointed towards the guest room.

Yeon clicked open the guest room and saw Jun trying to clean the fan and iseul running between his legs.

"Iseul get down, that's dangerous. You will make Jun fall if you keep running between his legs, get down"

Yeon tried to get the puppy down. Iseul whimpered and sat beside Jun's legs as if hiding from Yeon.

"ah no need, please don't scold iseul."

Jun said as he came down the bed and picked up iseul in his arms. Yeon fought a smile back watching iseul being so childish and Jun playing along with it.

"So what are you doing? want any help?"

Yeon asked as he made way towards Jun,

"no need... I can do it. I'm just cleaning a bit, You don't have to -"

Jun couldn't continue his sentence as Yeon cut him off,

"let me help you. You still have Those wounds, it will hurt"

Yeon insisted making Jun shut his mouth and gave out a small nod.

A thick Silence covered the room as both the males got busy cleaning the room. Iseul kept on running from Jun's legs to Yeon's.

"Yeon- shi, if you don't mind can I ask you something?"

Jun broke the silence. Yeon flinched visibly as he got used to the silence and the sudden sound made him started,

"yeah go on"

he replied while straightening the blankets.

"Why did you help me?"

Keeping the dusting cloth away Jun walked a bit towards Yeon.

"huh.."

Yeon was frozen, well what would he say when he himself didn't know why he helped this guy.

"I don't know, I felt like helping you so I did. It's nothing in particular"

Yeon replied after a while of thinking.

"Oh..."

is what Jun said before returning to his part of work. Silence crept in again. Iseul got bored of sitting in one place, Yeon had ordered him to do so. The puppy whimpered again and decided to roam around.

Seeing both the males working silently, Iseul was feeling like he could do anything now. He tried to play with an empty box, CRASH. Jun & Yeon both got started and looked towards the sound. There, the little puppy was struggling to get out of the box he had trapped himself in.

"Hahahaha...."

Jun burst out laughing at the mess iseul was in, Yeon couldn't help but stare at Jun. Jun's laughing face made Yeon feel that wired feeling again. 

After some seconds of laughing Jun went to help iseul, not seeing the mess created by isuel a while ago. Jun slipped on a box which was torn down by the little demon, he landed straight on the box near iseul.

"Hahahahahah..."

It was Yeon's turn to laugh now. Jun stared at iseul and himself for a second and joined Yeon, Both of them started laughing without any care and there isuel continued to try to come out of the box.

On the Otherside in Yu's house, everyone was running here and there. they didn't understand where Jun went to. All the chores were left as they were, Mr. Yu was worried for his son, but couldn't even mention it and tried to start a search on his own. Mrs. Yu on the other side was furious.

"That fucking slut.....where in the world did he go. No matter how far you go Jun, I'll make sure to drag you back here. You can't escape this easily, I won't let you. You will regret what you did."

Mrs. Yu was determent on getting Jun back no matter what, she made some calls and sat on her armchair with an evil smirk.

"I'll get you here back my slave."
