Chapter 8—The Aftermath

last update Zuletzt aktualisiert: 24.01.2026 20:17:09

You could hear the fan spin and the sound of Rory’s PC running in the back. No one said anything. Out of the three people present in the room, only one was amused by the situation.

“Leave. Now.” Nicholas’s voice was arctic. His words were filled with venom; you would not believe they were directed at his own son.

Harvey’s lip fluttered a bit, but he switched up his act, trying to maintain the facade of being nonchalant.

However, Harvey held his ground for a little while longer, searching his father’s stone face. If he had doubts before, he was completely sure now. The video in his phone was worthless because the person who gave Rory those dirty bites and hickey was his father.

Oh, how he would love to press on with this new revelation. But he knew if he did… His father will not fail to go through with his promise to him.

But it was obvious; his hands twitched, and his eyes were hard. Harvey knew better than to press on. But the realization was clear, and it hit him like the blow his father gave to him.

Nicholas… His father was sleeping with Rory.

A wave of vomit rolled through his gut, but he disgustingly slowed it down, swapping it with anger. “Fine, but I will still send it to you, though. I mean, since you are fucking each other like dumb rabbits, you might as well entertain some masturbation.”

He reached the doorknob, pausing a minute. “Enjoy your fucking faggot.”

The door slammed behind him.

He leaned against the wall, his heart pounding incredibly hard. It almost felt like it was about to burst through his chest. He plucked out his phone, staring deeply at the picture of Rory. The underwear on his head and his throbbing red dick.

His stomach twisted.

Harvey didn’t want to admit it. No, he didn’t want to acknowledge the way his own body reacts anytime he watches the video. His brain turns to a puddle anytime he remembers Rory choking on his dick whenever he called him to suck on it.

The way his cock had hardened while he was playing with Rory’s under the breakfast table, the way he had forced Rory to cum, the way he had sadistically hated and strangely loved it too.

Slamming his fist into the wall, the pain shot through him, and it sobered him from the growing weirdness in him.

To him, it was better to deny and hate his brother than to understand whatever the fuck was going on within him.

Hitting the call button, it rang for a while before the caller picked it up. “Sin city. The usual room.”

A giggle followed through.

Harvey glared at the door, resisting the urge to burst it down.

“Harvey, honey, what are you doing?” Heidi called out while she was cleaning up the table. Typically, Harvey paid no attention to her, slamming the door as an answer.

Back in the room, Nicholas turned to Rory. He could see the worry and fear taint his eyes. But he wasn’t going to talk about anything that just happened. His voice softened, despite the rage still simmering within him.

“It is alright, sweetheart…. Daddy is here.”

Rory let out a sigh of relief as he buried his face in his hands. His body slowly broke down. He was tired from their little quickie that morning and had hoped to rub one out and sleep. But now… he was beyond stressed with no feeling of sleep around him.

Sitting beside him, Nicholas rubbed his back gently.

“He won’t hurt you again. I promise."

The sudden promise shocked Rory as he looked up at him. His eyes were red and desperate. “He knows, Dad; he knows.”

Nicholas’s jaw tightened as he understood what he said. There was no brainer about what would happen if this were to come out.

“Don’t worry, he would not say anything.” This was 70-30% true. After all, if Harvey wanted to stay in his will, he would keep his mouth shut.

But then again, Nicholas knew his son could risk everything and expose him, not caring about anything, which was why it was a 70-30% chance.

He pulled Rory out of his arms, staring at him dead in his eye. “He won’t.”

Even though Rory wanted to believe him, he knew Harvey more than his stepfather knew his son.

Harvey was cruel, ruthless, and manipulative. He would never let this go.

Sure, he had lost his right over the video, but Rory knew Harvey would have something more.

Something dark is waiting for him.

An hour later, stuck in traffic, Harvey was sitting on the bed with a woman rubbing his shoulders and kissing him. He didn’t smile as he downed his whiskey shot in one go.

The burn was good to numb his growing rage.

“Well, someone is testy. What got you so wound up? It is mid-afternoon. Too early for sex.” Harvey rolled his eyes.

“There is no designated time for sex.” He answered, gripping the glass.

“True… But you are lying; something is up.”

Harvey said nothing, nor did he push her away. He filled his cup again, reeling on the burn.

C’mon, tell me…” She mourned, kissing him as they shared the whiskey in his mouth.

He suddenly pulled her by her waist, sitting her down on his hard dick as she rocked on him.

“You want to know? Fine, my stepbrother is a fucking liar. My father is a hypocrite. My stepmother is just weird and nosy. And I’m sick and tired of playing family house with them.”

She arched her brows and let out a giggle. But she didn’t press, and honestly, she was slightly annoyed. “Sure,” she said. But it was a form of tease. She didn’t want to hear him whine about family problems.

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, her lips brushed his ear.

“Then let’s make you forget.”

He tore at the flimsy fabric of her dress. But despite her tan body, all he saw was Rory’s pale skin. All he felt was the ghost of Rory trembling beneath him like he did that morning.

“Fuck!” She gasped as Harvey bit her collarbone. His teeth were sinking too hard into her body. But she loved it.

Arching her back and moaning, Harvey didn’t hear her. He was completely lost in the thought of Rory’s whimpers and sighs.

His hands slid up, gripping her through, just enough to make her gasp

“You like that? Yeah?” He snarled. His cock was hard and arching. But it wasn’t for her but for Rory. The way his eyes swelled with tears anytime he had his cock in his mouth.

“Harvey—fuck, yes—”

He shoved her legs apart, driving it into her in one brutal thrust. She cried out, and her body jerked in response.

But he didn’t care. She was his cum dump; that was her job. Sit still and take him well. He didn’t slow down.

He fucked her as though he hated her. Like she was the source of his anger and the burning rage in his chest. His hips buckled as she slammed into her. The slap of their skin getting louder and louder.

His breath was ragged as he chased his release, ignoring hers completely.

Not her.

Not her.

NOT HER!!!

IT WAS NOT HER!!!

“HARVEY!!!” Lena screamed, her nails digging at his back. He was so close, his body coiled tight as he gripped her hip harder.

His thumb pressed into her flesh as he pictured Rory beneath him, whimpering and begging.

‘I’m yours… Harvey—’

His body jerked at that, and he filled inside her.

"Rory? Are you in there? I just saw Harvey storming out."

Now that the conversation was done, Christy was ready to head back home. She had achieved her plan and needed to leave for much more important things. There was no way in hell she would go back into the house and join her parents. They would definitely flaunt her around like some pre-made, pre-molded merchandise. She would rather head home and edit some videos or pictures. She didn’t take any during the party; she didn’t even bother to announce where she was going to her fans or do a get ready with me video. It was all in her plan. She wanted to keep Rory a secret for as long as she possibly could. And him not even having a social media account, not even a social media presence, she was sure Rory was her diamond in the rough. And she wanted to keep her ‘diamond’ deep in the dirt, because if she was thinking right on her revenge, she was sure Rory would see the dark side of her that the internet has never and will never see in their life.Right now, on her to-do list, she has to edit s

Rory went to her back and gave a slight push. She held herself with her umbrella as she let herself feel the wind hit against her skin. They were like this for a few minutes. The music from the party was long lost due to their distance from the building.“As I was saying,”Rory slowed his push to listen to her.“I don’t want to marry. It should be a no-brainer, actually. Marrying a guy I never knew and even just knowing about him the day before?”She explained, and truly, she was making sense with what she was saying. The mere fact that they knew about each other just the day before was bizarre to think about.“And I am guessing you feel the same way.”“Yes. I also do not wish to marry you.”Christine hummed as she eyed her a bit more. “May I ask why?”“Why? Did I hurt your feelings?”She snorted and let out a light scoff. “As if. I have millions of people fawning over me; I doubt I care for another.”“Oh, really?” He asked, amused by her words."Yeah. Honestly, I’m after another thin

Isabella watched with twinkling eyes while Heidi looked at her with confusion. “Why did you do that? You should not have said anything and just let it slide.”Isa humphs like a little kid, looking away from the men to Heidi. “What? I told him he should keep his distaste for Rory at home. It didn’t matter if he was his blood or not, but he didn’t listen.”“And you chose this approach? Aren’t you worried about the outcome?”Heidi was familiar with men and their temper. She was grateful Nicholas was more on the restrained and nonchalant side, but even she didn’t dare to push his buttons too much.“Scared of what? He is someone I raised from the ground up; I can easily ruin him just as easily as pulling the rug from beneath his legs. And he would be like the tale.”“The tale?”“Yes, one where the man falls from grace to grass…” She grinned maliciously. She was a logical woman. She never loved Callum, and whether he knew it or not, it didn’t matter to her. Back in the day, Callum was the o

  • Knots of Kinship   Chapter 26—Conversation

Air left Rory’s lungs as he looked behind him, matching towards the balcony door; he peeked out to it, his red hair tussling as he looked left and right before turning back to Christy.“Why would you say such a thing?!” He asked in a loud whisper. Shrugging her shoulders, she dropped the two champagne flutes she was holding on the rail.Rory eyed her for a bit before letting go of a sigh and walking back to her.“Champagne?”He just didn’t understand her. She was all over the place at this point, and it was really confusing and a bit frustrating. But she was offering a drink; who was he to resist it?“Thanks,” he mumbled. They stayed like that, just staring at the tree in front of them like they had some evil agenda against it or something.“This is some fine wine.”“Can we talk about what you literally just said minutes ago?” Rory ducked his head down, closer to her ears. She shivered as his breath tickled her neck. “You know about not wanting to marry me.”She also leaned closer to

Rory understood riches; after all, he was from a rich family. But it seemed like his father didn’t know how to use his ‘riches,’ as Rory couldn’t comprehend why or how you would have a ballroom in your house.Renting an event hall would be better than actively owning a ballroom in your house. But it wasn’t as though he was related to these people or anything, so it really wasn’t his business how and what they sent their money on.But…still…His eyes trailed through the high ceilings that had chandelier lights hanging from them, gold and silver lights all mixed and shining. The drive pulled to a stop. Alden’s estate loomed before them. The build was grand and luxurious. You could tell a lot more money was put into this than I thought. It was a luxurious manor of white stones and a sprawling shrub garden.Rory stepped out, head still in phone, scrolling through Harvey and his girlfriend’s Insta Life page. It seemed Harvey lived a different life than the one he showed at home.Balling with friends, partying at home, dates, and birthdays. s. It seemed like it was always fun and exciting for him.“Don’t make me smack that phone off your hands and into the gutter.” He heard his mother’s low, threatening voice from beside him.She felt like the devil standing behind you and threatening your well-being.
