JONATHAN'S POVI woke up next to a woman I didn't know, in a bed that wasn't mine. My memory felt fuzzy and my heart throbbed. The last thing I remember was chugging that last glass of Blue Moon. I usually didn't drink beer due to the fact that I could get extremely drunk doing so. The woman beside me was completely bare and sleeping soundly. I felt a tug towards her, but guilt swarmed my heart because I knew Xandria would kill me for this. I sat up slowly to not wake up the woman beside me and buried my face in my hands.Xandria... Alpha Liam is no threat," I say, releasing him from my grip. Jonathan smiled and pecked me on the cheek. "If you say he's nothing, I trust you," he said softly before leaving to Uncle Austin's side. I turned back to Maria, rolling my eyes at her while she made kissy faces at the man she took beer from. The man didn't even looks disgusted at her as she tried to flirt. I stood between them, being the good friend I am. "Sorry sir, she's drunk and already has a mate," I say, apologizing sweetly."Well, lady, I don't mind. She can flirt with me all she wants. I decided to wear a peach dress with a cut on the side. My heels were the same color with natural makeup and dark eyeliner.
