CHAPTER 58: HOSPITAL 2

ADRIAN'S POV

The word regret was an understatement. I decided to help Austin live right after the death of his father but never did he imagine that he only worsened the case.

All over the years, he had been hurting, crying and feeling bitter but he thought he had made the right choice, in as much Austin could be happy. Each time Austin fought with him or talked to him harshly, his heart would ache but there was always a part of him that would always commend him for a job well done until he saw Austin in the bar alone that night.

While he was taking him home, a tear suddenly ran down Austin's face and he was surprised to see that so he asked. "Are you okay?"

Austin looked at him and smiled bitterly "I just miss my old friend. How I wish life wasn't so cruel on us like this." He mumbled and closed his eyes as another tear rolled down. "You see, I wished I could turn back the hands of time and stop that incident from happening. If only I hadn't gone inside to write my assignment that
